Wedding bells are ringing for John Schneider who has tied the knot with Dee Dee Sorvino this week.
The 64-year-old Dukes of Hazzard actor confirmed the union in a statement shared on his Facebook page, writing: "Big news big news everybody! DeeDee and I got hitched last night in Vegas!
"Those of you who’ve been riding shotgun with me this last year and a half or so can understand that I never dreamed that happiness would be possible again," he said. "I’m here to tell you that you are stronger than you think!
"And those folks who have 'gone on ahead' are absolutely not only watching from above… but giving us the necessary small nudge… and the occasional kick in the butt to do the right things!" he continued. "I honestly never thought I would ever laugh again… and now I laugh all the time. Thanks, DeeDee! Thanks, Paul!! Thanks, Alicia!!!"

The Smallville actor's wife Alicia Allain Schneider passed away from breast cancer aged 53 in February 2023.
Scheider opened up about his loss in an interview with PEOPLE in August 2023, sharing that he missed "every damn thing" about his late partner "every day".
"I have to get to the point where I look around and see where she is, not where she's not," he said at the time. "And I'm trying to do that, but that's hard. Somehow I love her more every minute, but with that, somehow I miss her more every minute."
Meanwhile, Dee Dee's late husband Paul Sorvino died aged 83 from natural causes in July 2022.
"Our hearts are broken," Dee Dee said in a statement at the time. "There will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage."
Schnieder and Dee Dee announced that they were in a relationship in June.
During the 'I've Been Around Enough to Know' singer's appearance on Grace Begins, The Podcast, he revealed that he found love again and said he "wouldn't be here" if it weren't for his new partner.
He also confessed that he was "ready to give it all up" and found "the very notion of dating" to be "repulsive" after the "really rough" loss of his wife, but that changed when he met his then-girlfriend.
In addition to their Vegas nuptials, the pair plan to have an official wedding celebration on August 1 at The Hollywood Museum.
