John Travolta has shared a heartfelt to his "good friend" Bruce Willis following the Armageddon star's recent aphasia diagnosis.
Earlier this week, Willis's children - Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, and Evelyn - along with the actor's wife Emma and ex-wife Demi Moore, all shared a statement updating fans about the actor's health.
In a statement shared on social media, they announced that Willis has decided to "step away" from his acting career after being diagnosed with aphasia.
"To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him," the message read.

The family continued: "This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.
"As Bruce always says, 'Live it up' and together we plan to do just that. Love, Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn".
Following the heartbreaking news, many of Willis' fans and celebrity friends took to social media to share their tributes and best wishes to the 67-year-old actor.
The most recent of which is John Travolta, who starred alongside Willis in movies like Pulp Fiction and Look Who's Talking.
Taking to Instagram, the 68-year-old shared two throwback photos with fans - one showing Travolta and Willis together, and the other that included the Grease star's late wife, Kelly Preston.
He captioned the post: "Bruce and I became good friends when we shared 2 of our biggest hits together, Pulp Fiction and Look Who’s Talking.
"Years later he said to me, 'John, I just want you to know that when something good happens to you I feel like it’s happening to me.' That’s how generous a soul he is. I love you Bruce."
Famed director M. Night Shyamalan - who worked with Willis on The Sixth Sense and the Unbreakable series - tweeted out: "All my love and respect to my big brother Bruce Willis. I know his wonderful family is surrounding him with support and strength. He will always be that hero on that poster on my wall as kid."
Additionally, Die Hard 2 star William Sadler tweeted: "Take a bow Bruce. Thanks for all the amazing moments and good luck with the road ahead. #BruceWillis".
Once again, we will Willis and his family all the best at this time.
