Johnny Depp has revealed that his daughter, Lily-Rose, did not attend his wedding to Amber Heard because the two weren't on "great terms".
The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 58, shared the disclosure amid his ongoing $50 million defamation trial against ex-wife, Amber Heard.
Depp is suing the Aquaman star after Heard referred to herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse" in an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post back in 2018. Heard is countersuing.
The trial also comes after 58-year-old Depp lost a highly-publicized trial against UK newspaper The Sun for labeling him a "wife-beater" last year.
This week, while taking to the stand, Depp spoke out about the wedding day that he shared with Heard back in 2015.
Depp and Heard first met in 2009 while on set for the movie The Rum Diary. They started dating in 2014 and got engaged that same year. They married in a private ceremony in Los Angeles the following year.
After a 15-month marriage, Heard filed for divorce in 2016, with the divorce being finalized in January of 2017.
Speaking of the wedding day, per PEOPLE, Depp revealed that his daughter, Lily-Rose, did not attend.
"My daughter Lily-Rose did not come to the wedding. She and Ms. Heard were not on particularly great terms, for several reasons." Depp said.
Lily-Rose, now 22, is the daughter of Depp and French model and actor Vanessa Paradis, 49.
Paradis was in a relationship with Depp from 1998 to 2012. As well as Lily-Rose, they also share a son, 20-year-old John Christopher "Jack" Depp III.
Continuing to talk about his wedding day with Heard, Depp revealed that there were about 20 to 25 people in attendance. When asked if alcohol was served as the event, he answered: "Yes. There was alcohol served at the wedding. There was champagne, accouterments."
Per The Independent, Depp was then asked if any drugs were taken at the wedding, to which he responded that "a number of people were taking MDMA".
As well as mentioning that his friends were taking MDMA, he also said that Heard and "all of her gang were all partaking in the MDMA."
When asked if he took any drugs on his wedding day, he said: "I smoked marijuana."
"That was fine for me. So dipping into a little tiny baggie of – licking your finger and dipping into a tiny, communal bag of MDMA, it was pointless for me," he added.
Depp stated during the beginning of his witness testimony that his goal is to reveal the truth.
Speaking of Heard's abuse allegations against him, the actor said: "Since I knew there was no truth to it whatsoever, I felt it my responsibility to stand up not only for myself in that instance but stand up for my children, who at the time were 14 and 16."
