Blake Lively has become a trending topic online - but not quite for the right reasons.

The actress has seemingly had her fall from grace amid rumors of on-set feuds as well as her alleged lack of sensitivity when dealing with heavy topics related to her latest film, It Ends With Us.

However, things have gotten more intense as a reporter recently slammed the actress for her alleged "mean girl" behavior during an interview back in 2016.

Award-winning journalist Kjersti Flaa claimed that the interaction made her want to "quit her job" after the former Gossip Girl alum made an awkward comment while discussing her film release at the time, Cafe Society, alongside her co-star Parker Posey.

The 51-year-old can be heard congratulating Lively on her pregnancy - she was expecting her second child with her husband Ryan Reynolds at the time - but the encounter seemingly turned tense from that very moment on.

"First of all, congrats on your little bump," Flaa, who is the founder of Content Now TV, said.

"Congrats on your little bump," Blake hit back, clearly unamused by the comment.

"What about my bump?" Posey quipped, standing up to show her butt to the camera.

The two actresses went on to have a conversation amongst themselves about their "bumps" while the interviewer watched on awkwardly.

The tense atmosphere only continued to get worse as Flaa, who is Norwegian, asked the first question.

"Did you guys love wearing those kind [sic] of clothes?" she said, referring to the fact that the movie was set back in the 1930s.

But Blake didn't take too well to the question and as Posey began to answer, she interjected saying: "Everyone wants to talk about the clothes but I wonder if they would ask the men about the clothes."

"I would," the interviewer responded.

This led to the two actresses, yet again, having a conversation of their own completely ignoring the fact that Flaa was even in the room.

The journalist uploaded a clip of the interview to her YouTube channel earlier this week with the title: "The Blake Lively interview that made me want to quit my job," and let's just say, after seeing the clip, fans were not impressed.

"The way they don’t even look at the journalist when answering questions is demeaning and rude AF. Wow," commented one user, while another added: "When she immediately pretended to be offended by the clothes question? Insane behavior. Really showing her true colors."

A third also chimed in writing: "Oh wow, those girls were not even addressing the interviewer. Good for the interviewer for not getting sucked into their crass behavior."

And this user raised a really good point with their comment stating: "I think every woman knows exactly what this feels like (if they weren’t the perpetrators lol) the feeling of being dismissed, excluded, talked down to.. and always in this passive-aggressive way that makes you question, 'wait are they being mean or am I just overreacting?' This clip just brought me back to high school and I’m sorry that even in your professional career you still have to deal with this childish Mean Girl behavior. Keep chasing success and ignore all the haters and miserable people!"

After the video went viral, Flaa took to her Instagram Stories to thank people for their support.

"Thank you to all you wonderful people out there who have sent me so many messages with support after I posted this interview. I am truly touched," she wrote.

Lively has yet to address the backlash.
