Rapper and singer Juice Wrld has died at the age of 21 after suffering a seizure in Chicago's Midway airport, TMZ has reported.
Juice's flight had landed in Chicago from California, and witnesses say the talented rapper - real name Jarad Anthony Higgins - collapsed while walking through Chicago's Midway airport. The 21-year-old was reportedly bleeding from the mouth when paramedics arrived on the scene.
TMZ reports that Juice was still conscious when he arrived at a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later. The cause of death is yet to be confirmed at the time of this writing.
Earlier this year, the young musician toured with Nicki Minaj after having his career in the music industry kick off in 2018 when his track 'Lucid Dreams' received international acclaim. The song, released by Grade A Productions and Interscope Records, reached number two in the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 10 in the UK charts.
The track has amassed over 392 million views on YouTube since being uploaded:After finding success yet again with the hit 'All Girls Are The Same', which featured Lil Yachty on the remix, Juice - who turned 21 just last week - was signed into a multi-million dollar contract with Interscope Records.
Juice's first album, Goodbye And Good Riddance, reach number four on the Billboard charts after selling over one million copies. His second album, Death Race For Love, peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, and was certified as Platinum shortly after.
Juice had also released the two-track EP, Too Soon, as a tribute to XXXTentacion and Lil Peep.
No official statement has been released by the police or his family at this time.
