Julia Fox's unique fashion sense is once again making a splash.
Last Friday (22 July), the Uncut Gems star stepped out in a pair of extremely low-rise trousers that has gotten everyone talking.
Fox is no stranger to low-cut trousers, frequently donning leather pants and jeans that bare all of her midriff and most of her hips.
However, the actor - who was thrust into the limelight earlier this year when she briefly dated Kanye West - has never opted for a pair of pants that are quite so revealing before.
In pictures from a night out in New York, Fox can be seen wearing black matte leather pants with patchwork stitching and a waistline that dipped into a sharp 'V' at the front. She finished off the risque look with a black bikini top, sunglasses, and pointed boots.
Unsurprisingly, social media has been flooded with comments since photos of the outfit first arose. The look has sparked a fierce debate between people who love it - and those who loath it.
"I unironically love the pants," one fan wrote, adding: "Julia Fox is constantly bringing a new meaning to low waist."
"This is the woman I aspire to be, so unhinged, pushing boundaries through fashion, absolutely insane, a literal genius," another gushed.
However, other people weren't so impressed.
"I want everyone to wear whatever they want and to feel comfortable and authentic in who they are except for Julia Fox in these pants. Afraid I can’t allow it," one person tweeted.
"That photo of julia fox in her low rise pants is going to give me nightmares," another wrote.
Meanwhile, some people were simply confused by the way the trousers made it look like Fox had the legs of a horse.
"Julia Fox looks like a f**king centaur," one person tweeted, while another agreed: "Julia Fox dressed like a damn centaur."
A third user referenced the half-goat faun from Narnia, tweeting: "I love julia fox but why does she look like a y2k mr tumnus."
Fox previously opened up about her bold fashion choices in an interview with People, where she explained that she is providing a "visual service".
"If they're gonna get me, I might as well make the best of it. I feel like I'm doing a service. I'm providing a service," the star said.
