Julia Fox has been opening up about how dating Kanye West changed her life.
The Uncut Gems actor hit headlines earlier this year when it was confirmed that the pair had been dating for a brief period. Despite going their separate ways last month, 32-year-old Fox told Entertainment Tonight that the short relationship was "the best thing that could have happened to me."
However, it turns out one element from the relationship has left her feeling pressured and anxious... a bag.
Yes, speaking to The New York Times, Fox revealed that the 44-year-old rapper had gifted her a black ostrich leather Hermès Birkin bag.
With price tags starting at $10,000 for the bags, Fox opened up about what it is like having to own such an expensive accessory.
"I don’t know if you know about owning a Birkin when you’re not a rich person, but it’s like the most anxiety-inducing thing ever," Fox said, adding: "You’re checking on the Birkin, making sure it’s still there, that it didn’t magically grow wings.
"It’s scary to have a Birkin. It’s a lot of pressure."
In fact, Fox told the publication that the bag has gone back into its box for safekeeping. Heaven forbid anything should happen to a bag.
Fox's best friend and stylist Briana Andalore was also gifted an indigo bag by West, but told the Times that she is yet to actually take it out.
Despite splitting - and admitting to the Times that she lost 15lbs over the course of the relationship - Fox told Entertainment Tonight that dating the rapper - who has legally changed name to Ye - was "like hitting a reset button."
"It kind of brought a spark back into my life that I had kind of forgotten about," she said of their short-lived romance.
When asked if the pair are still on good terms, Fox said: "We're still friends, yeah," before adding that she was "too busy" to commit to another relationship.
However, since their split, Fox has deleted all images of her and the rapper from her Instagram account, and Ye appears to not be following Fox on the social media platform anymore.
The lifestyles of the rich and the famous, eh?
