Kanye West has hinted he's going to run for US president again in 2024.
The rapper - who represents the independent party by the name of the Birthday Party - had high hopes for the 2020 election, but it looks like it's not going to go his way.
Accepting his defeat, Kanye took to Twitter and hinted to fans that he wasn't giving up.
Tweeting to his 30.9 million followers, the 43-year-old chart-topper shared a picture of him in front of an electrical map, along with the caption: "WELP KANYE 2024."

The suggestion appeared to divide his followers – who certainly weren't shy of providing their feedback on the social media platform.
Some weren't very supportive of the rapper's alleged presidential ambitions for 2024: "Bro you had like 720 votes. Chill."

Another reacted: "Sir you need to hang it up."
Then a third tweeted: "It took u this long to realise u weren't gonna win?"
However, others were more supportive and had nothing but praise for the star: "You may have lost the polls, but you won our hearts."
Moments later, another fan posted: "Don't worry, ye. You'll get 'em next time."

A third then showed their support: "I'm putting my yard sign up now. Campaign for you starts now bro!!"
Shortly afterward, a fourth tweeted: "The hero we need. The hero we deserve."

This comes after Kanye also revealed to his Twitter followers that he had voted for himself as a write-in in the presidential election.
He posted: "God is so good. Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust... me."
The 43-year-old added: "The first vote of my life. We are here to serve. We pray for every servant leader in the world."

Kanye then went on to share a video that showcased his ballot, along with a picture of him in a voting booth.

Although, some of Kanye's fans were concerned that the clip may have broken laws as it revealed Kanye's completed ballot, but according to Vox, there are no laws in Wyoming against ballot selfies.
Regardless, judges of elections do have the right "by any necessary and suitable means" to ensure order at the polls.
Kanye originally raised eyebrows when he announced plans to run for office back in July.
Writing on Twitter, the hip-hop star wrote:
"We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for president of the United States."

But despite the help, Kanye's independent party – the Birthday Party – missed the deadline and failed to collect enough signatures in many states, the New York Times reports.
Despite the setback, his confidence didn't appear knocked when he arrived at his local polling station in Park County, Wyoming – where he owns a ranch frequently used by the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Although his name wasn't an option on his ballot, the star was still able to vote for himself as a write-in option.
While Kanye's name did not appear on ballots in Wyoming, it did in dozens of other states including Minnesota and Colorado.
If he is elected, the rapper has promised to cure homelessness and hunger.
Taking to Twitter in the lead up to the election, he wrote: "We will cure hunger. There are people sleeping in parking lots. We as a people will heal. We will insure [sic] the well being of each other."

Kanye added: "I was just speaking with someone that told me their life story and they used to be homeless. We must and will cure homelessness and hunger We have the capability as a species.
"I hear people say … this person is cool and this person is not cool… people are cool… man has never invented anything as awesome as an actual person but sometimes we value the objects we create over life itself.
"So many of us need so much less than we have especially when so many of us are in need."
