Kanye West insists he wants him and ex Kim Kardashian to 'be together': 'She's still my wife'
Kanye West has claimed that he is yet to see the divorce papers amid his separation from his supposed ex Kim Kardashian and that he "wants" them to "be together".
On Thursday, November 4, the 44-year-old 'Gold Digger' rapper made a guest appearance on the Drink Champs podcast.
During his appearance, he spoke about his 41-year-old estranged wife Kardashian West, who filed for divorce from the rapper in February following a seven-year marriage.
As he spoke, Kanye repeatedly referred to Kim as his "wife", saying, per ET Online: "'Cause she's still my wife, it ain't no paperwork."
He added: "SNL making my wife say 'I divorced him' on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off. And I ain't never even seen the papers, we're not even divorced."
Last month, Kim hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live and roasted her own relationship with the rapper, telling viewers in her monologue that she was divorcing her husband because of his "personality".
In any case, Kanye went on to tell the Drink Champs hosts: "That ain't no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together."
Kanye continued: "But if you look at the media, that's not what they're promoting. They want it to be a new wedding, a new episode, a new TV show. And then they have people all around in my wife's ear. That publicist, I don't f**k with her."
He then went on to call out Hulu, the streaming platform that will be airing the Kardashian family's new reality series.
"I want to get my family back together. I'm assuming this interview isn't that helpful to that," he said. "That's my family, Hulu!"
Kim and Kanye began dating back in 2012 and they tied the knot in Florence, Italy, two years later. After experiencing several rough patches in their relationship last year, the mom of four decided to file for divorce from the 'Stronger' chart-topper earlier this year.
The couple share four kids together: daughters North, eight, and Chicago, three, and sons Saint, five, and Psalm, two.
