Kanye West has reacted to a resurfaced video of Pete Davidson making jokes about the rapper's "mental illness".
On Wednesday, February 16, a 2018 Saturday Night Live clip started making the rounds online. The short video sees Davidson talk about the 'Gold Digger' rapper's "mental illness", saying it is "no excuse [for him] to be a jack***."
Elsewhere in the video, Davidson makes reference to West's support for Donald Trump.
In the last few days, West, who legally changed his name to Ye last year, has posted a string of confrontational posts about Davidson, who is currently dating his estranged wife and mother of his four children, Kim Kardashian.
Now, despite earlier this week taking "accountability" for a series of Instagram posts he made about Kardashian and Davidson - West has taken to Instagram once more to share a post hitting out at the SNL star.
In the post, the 44-year-old megastar responded to a 2018 clip of Davidson wearing a hat that resembles the MAGA cap, with the words: "Make Kanye 2006 again."
“HI SKETE [West's own personal moniker for Davidson] YOU GOT ANYMORE MENTAL HEALTH JOKES FOR ME?” West wrote to accompany a screenshot of the comedian.
He continued: "This boy thought he could get away with performing this sketch for the team that wrote this for him. This is not harassment. This is payback."
The post has since been deleted.
In an additional post, which has also now been deleted, the rapper wrote: "Someone always telling you you’re crazy can drive someone crazy. That’s the gaslighting. That’s the harassment. The liberals have been trying to discredit me for 20 years".
This comes just days after West shared an Instagram post apparently expressing remorse for his recent activity on the app, which has seen him direct a series of hateful posts at Davidson.
"I've learned that using all caps makes people feel like I'm screaming at them. I'm working on my communication," he wrote. "I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers, and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me."
