Kate Moss will be testifying at the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, several media outlets have reported.

A source close to the 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star confirmed to People that his 48-year-old supermodel ex will speak about her former romance with the actor to the jury in Fairfax, Virginia. She is expected to appear on Wednesday via video link.

Moss, who dated Depp in the 90s, was mentioned by the Aquaman star earlier this month during her testimony. She was testifying about an alleged altercation between her former husband and her sister, Whitney Henriquez.

The Rum Diary actress, 36, said her sister was near a staircase "in the line of fire … trying to get Johnny to stop," which immediately made her think her of an alleged incident between Moss and Depp.

"[Whitney's] back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her," Heard testified. "I don't hesitate, I don't wait — I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs."

"And I swung at him," Heard said of the alleged March 2015 altercation involving herself, Henriquez and Depp.

"In all of my relationship to date with Johnny, I hadn't landed a blow," she said. "And I, for the first time, hit him — like, actually hit him. Square in the face."

Heard added: "He didn't push my sister down the stairs."

Henriquez, 34, later took the stand and alleged to the court that Depp once struck her and then "repeatedly" hit Heard.

Heard first mentioned the rumored staircase incident when she testified at Depp's libel trial against The Sun in 2020, according to The New York Post.

"I remembered information I had heard [that] he pushed a former girlfriend — I believe it was Kate Moss — down the stairs," Heard said as she described the altercation between her sister and Depp. "I had heard this rumor from two people and it was fresh in my mind."

Heard and Depp are in the final week of their defamation court case in which the latter is suing his former wife over a piece she wrote for The Washington Post about domestic violence.

The Edward Scissorhands star was not named in the article, but his legal team argues that it defames him nonetheless. Depp maintains that he has lost out on film roles - including those in the popular Fantastic Beasts and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises - as a result of Heard's 2018 op-ed.
