Kelly Ripa has taken to Instagram to seemingly comment on the rumors surrounding her husband Mark Consuelos and the size of his "bulge".

It all began with a fairly innocent string of snaps as part of a post to Instagram on Friday, October 23.

The pictures featured throwbacks to past Halloween outfits worn by her friends, family, and co-workers.

Some of the shots even included the children she shares with Consuelos: Michael, 23, Lola, 19, and Joaquin, 17.

But when it came to the very last snap, fans of Ripa had plenty to say about one aspect of her husband's appearance.

In the photo, Consuelos and a friend are dressed up as characters from CHiPS - Jon and Ponch.

The 49-year-old actor, in particular, sports a very tight pair of pants, which fans were quick to point out revealed a sizable bulge.

In response to all the NSFW comments, Consuelos felt the need to jump in clarify that the photo was, in fact, misleading.

Taking to the comments, he wrote: "Full, disclose, I believe that's definitely a shadow that's causing that bulging effect."

"Pretty sure," he added.

That's when Ripa decided to step in and seemingly confirm that Consuelos' package is indeed as large as it appears in the photo.

"Ummmm baby are you seeing shadows." she writes, casting doubt on Consuelos' claim that it was a "shadow" causing the "bulging effect".
