In the wake of Kim Kardashian's comments about "crying herself to sleep" over being a single mom, social media users have decided to speak out.
During a new episode of Jay Shetty's 'On Purpose' podcast, the 42-year-old SKIMS owner talked about the difficulties that come with being a single parent after calling it quits with her ex-husband, Ye - formerly known as Kanye West.
The pair share four children together: North, nine, Chicago, five, Saint, seven, and Psalm, four.
In an exclusive clip shared with People prior to the full release, the reality TV star was asked how her thoughts on parenting differ now compared to before she had kids to which she responded with: "Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn't be like a more true statement."
She continued: "So, like, when you're in it, I mean, especially when they're babies and you're feeding... there's madness going on. It's like full madness.
"It's the best chaos though," she added.
The business mogul also added that sometimes things do overwhelm her to the point where she has "no idea what's going on," emphasizing that they "all need [her]" all at once.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also stated that parenting is one of the aspects of her life that "taught her the most" about herself.
"It has been the most challenging thing," she said, telling the host that she gets emotional over it. "There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, holy s**t, this f**king tornado in my house. Like, what just happened?
"You know, with all the moods and the personalities and sometimes they're fighting, and you know, there's no one there," she added. "Like, it's [just] me to play good police officer and bad cop."
"Parenting is really f**king hard. That's the only way I can describe it," she admitted before going on to state: "It is the most rewarding job in the entire world. It is. There is nothing that can prepare you. ... I don't care how long you wait. I don't care what you're waiting for. You are never prepared.
"But you will figure it out, and it will make you so proud of yourself that you figured it out and that you got through the day," she concluded.

The clip garnered a lot of attention online with social media divided on the Kardashian's perspective.
Taking to Twitter, a handful of people slammed the 42-year-old for seemingly not recognizing her privilege.
"Me [sic] mother raised me on her own while working as a full time paramedic, I’d go whole weeks without seeing her. She could barely afford a babysitter. Some brass neck on any billionaire to come out and spout s**t like this," wrote one user.
"Indeed, being a single mother is hard. BUT YOU ARE A BILLIONAIRE," added another.
A third also brought up her divorce from Ye writing: "Kim Kardashian crying about being a single parent when she herself filed for divorce and probably has a chef cook every meal for the kids Lmao."
Others, however, were more empathetic, stating that having money does not completely minimize the difficulties of looking after four children.
"I know people are going to be p**sed off cos shes rich, but the emotional burden of being a parent much less a single one, cannot be solved with cash," tweeted one user while another held a similar view saying: "y’all dragging it in the comments just cus someone has money that means they can’t cry about being a single parent and having a broken family????"
Another user also put it down to "misogyny", adding: "The replies proving my point about the misogyny specifically toward wealthy women. As if wealth saves anyone from misogyny in all its forms. Her having money doesn’t change how gendered parenthood is, and how isolating it can be. Like!!!!"
