I'm sure many of us have experimented with 'out there' hair colors at some point in our lives. For example, back in high school, I thought I'd add a little electric pink to my locks - a decision I still regret to this day.
However, there has never been a better time than right now to try out a daring new look. Lockdown rules mean that most of us aren't going to be seeing anybody anytime soon - so why not cut your bangs and dye your hair an outrageous color? That's exactly what celebrities are doing.
However, some quarantine haircuts have also gone very, very wrong:

Last week, Disney legend Hillary Duff took to Instagram to show off her brand new bright blue bob (try saying that five times fast). The 32-year-old 'What Dreams Are Made Of' singer is usually seen sporting her long blond tresses, but it seems curiosity also got the better of her.

Duff shared the post with her 15 million Instagram followers, along with the simple caption: "yea".
But now Duff has been out-dyed, as former Twilight star Kristen Stewart has gone even brighter - opting for neon orange color known as "cosmic rust". And despite the word "rust" literally being in the name, Stewart is still pulling it off.
Stewart's hairstylist CJ Romero shared some snaps of the transformation, along with the caption: "Who said you can’t be cute in quarantine!? Hair cut on @emmaroberts and Cut and Color on Kristen!!"
(Now, it is worth pointing out that the three friends do live together, so they were not breaking any social distancing rules.)

And sure, American Horror Story actress Emma Roberts did look great with her new bob, but we are standing and bowing to Stewart's new dazzling look.
In a follow-up post, CJ explained how he achieved the look, writing: "What’s your flavor of the week?? Ours is Cosmic Rust (that’s what I’m calling it anyways)
"I used Bright Copper and a couple drops of Autumn Red by @marianilastockholm I also added @incommon Cashmere Fusion (Restorative Treatment) to give my girls hair a little extra love and moisture! We left the mixture on for 30 minutes giving Kristen a 2 for 1 *color and treatment* hence the name...Cosmic Rust"

It's also nice to see that Stewart's hair now matches the pool table.
