Kristin Cavallari has been mom-shamed on social media after posting a racy topless swimsuit snap to Instagram.
The 33-year-old mom-of-three recently took to the photo-sharing platform to share a stunning picture of her standing on a yacht wearing only a pair of thong bikini bottoms as she relaxed in the sun on Catalina Island.
The Very Cavallari star captioned the racy photo: "Pretending it’s Positano".
After 48 hours, the sizzling snap amassed over 229,000 Likes and more than 6,300 comments - but not all of those comments were positive.
In fact, Cavallari was mom-shamed by several Instagram users for daring to share such a confident post even though she is a mother.
One social media user with the handle 'lyndag1956' asked: "Appropriate for a mom of 3? Asking for a friend".

Another Instagram user with the username 'drsheffer07' wrote: "Won’t post pics of her kids but will post half naked for her kids to see in the future. Got it. Keepin in classy."

A third, 'raggyvitterfly', commented: "Ain’t you a mom???? Wtf".
"Don’t you have kids? Shame on you," a fourth typed.

And 'osnateweinstein' commented: "Pretending you are a stripper! U are a mom why????"

Don't adjust your calendars readers - this is indeed the year 2020.
Fortunately, one Instagram user was talking sense, and wrote the following comment in an attempt to slam the mom-shaming.
User 'rmc0981' wrote: "I never comment on these but the mom shaming is so pathetic.
"She’s a mom and she looks amazing. She’s a mom and she’s incredibly successful. She’s a mom and had the courage to leave an unhappy relationship.
"It seems to me she has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, her kids should be proud, and some of you all should come out of the 1950s."

It was reported back in April that Cavallari was splitting from her husband Jay Cutler after seven years of marriage.
Both Cutler and Cavallari took to Instagram to announce the divorce, both writing the same following caption:
"With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of.
"This is just the situation of two people growing apart.
"We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."
Cutler and Cavallari share three children together - Camden, eight, and Jaxon, six, and Saylor, four - and have a strict policy of not showing their faces on social media.
Two days ago - the same day Cavallari shared her topless snap - Cutler posted a picture of his goats, along with the caption: "Grow up."
This led to many people in the comments section speculating if Cutler was indirectly responding to his ex's snap.

Regardless, mom-shaming is NEVER cool, and Cavallari should never have been subjected to such comments. Let's keep the mom-shaming in the last century, shall we?
