Kylie and Kendall Jenner have spoken out after their clothing brand was accused of not paying their factory workers in Bangladesh during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Per Buzzfeed News, the claims that their range, Kendall + Kylie, failed to pay factory workers originated from an article from Remake; a non-profit organization aimed against exploitation in the fashion industry.
The piece alleges that Kendall and Kylie's clothing line is owned by Global Brands Group, a company that had reportedly failed to pay garment suppliers and factory workers in Bangladesh for orders produced in February and March due to a purported decrease in sales due to the novel coronavirus crisis. The article publically called for Kendall and Kylie, amongst other celebrities affiliated with GBG, to pay the garment suppliers and workers.

Now, the reality television stars have addressed the accusations and denied that Kendall + Kylie has "any relationship" with CBG.
"We would like to address the unfortunate and incorrect rumor that Global Brands Group owns the Kendall + Kylie brand and that we have neglected to pay factory workers in Bangladesh as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic," the sisters wrote in a statement posted to the brand's Instagram account.
"This is untrue. The Kendall + Kylie brand is owned by 3072541 Canada Inc., not GBG. The brand has worked with CAA-GBG in the past in a sales and business development capacity only, but we do not currently have any relationship at all with GBG," the statement continued.
"We know these are trying times for the fashion industry and garment workers as a whole, and we continue to support all of our partners working in the factories who produce our products. We manufacture in countries all over the world and have not received any concerns from the factories who produce our goods."
