Now, I think it's a given that 99% of us don't have a flattering passport or driving license picture. Those photo booths hardly provide the most flattering lighting - and there's no butterfly filter options. However, after seeing our license or passport for the first time, most of us just deal with it.
But 22-year-old billionaire Kylie Jenner has recently been accused of photoshopping her driving license picture after sharing the photo ID with her 176 million Instagram followers.
Jenner promotes her Kylie Skin range on Instagram:She captioned the post with a series of emojis, and in less than 48 hours, the simple snap has already amassed over 8 million likes and 52,000+ comments.
Now, I'll put it out there and say that Jenner does look great in the pic, successfully making my own license photo look more like a mugshot.
However some of Jenner fans actually believe the picture has been edited - and they've got the "proof". You see, Jenner has already posted a picture of her driving license back in December of 2019 - and it looked slightly different to the snap she shared two days ago.
And an Instagram page called @celebglowup2 - that already boasts over 44,000 followers - wanted to prove this, and shared a video of the two pictures "morphing" into each other - and there are notible differences.
The page captioned the video: "Kylie recently re-posted her Driving Licence photo that she posted back in January except this time she edited it [...] I think she looked much prettier in the original one [...] She's very pretty & doesn't need to edit her appearance at all."
The most obvious differences are that the new picture is much lighter, Kylie's nose shape changes quite a bit, and her eyebrows become thinner.
This comes just two weeks after the fashion mogul was accused of editing a series of poolside pics she had uploaded to Instagram.
In the steamy snaps, Jenner shows off her famous curves in a pink triangle bikini, and captioned the images were captioned: "taco Tuesday".
However, eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted that something wasn't quite right with the pool edge, and took to the comments section and Twitter to accuse the makeup mogul of doctoring her images.
Seemingly in response to the criticism, Jenner quickly removed the images just 20 minutes after posting them. She then re-uploaded them to her Instagram feed - this time with a tighter crop so that the pool edge could not be seen.
Kylie Jenner is 22 years old and looks great - she doesn't need to be editing pictures, and it sends the wrong message. So let's all just try and calmly move on from this and leave photoshopping images for social media back in 2009...
