Kylie Jenner has finally explained why she hasn't shared her son's new name after changing it from "Wolf" shortly after he was born.
In early February, Kylie shared the exciting news that she was now a mom of two, alongside a sweet snap of her daughter Stormi holding her little brother's hand.
Soon after his birth, the 25-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder revealed that she and her partner Travis Scott had decided to name their newborn son Wolf (full name: Wolf Webster).
She even shared the baby's name on her Instagram Story, where she simply wrote: "Wolf Webster."
But the following month, the makeup mogul took to Instagram once more to inform her hundreds of millions of followers on the app that her child's name was no longer "Wolf".
Kylie wrote on her story: “FYI our son’s name isn’t wolf anymore [laughing emoji] We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere. [praying emoji] [sic]”
Now in a September 29 episode of her famous family's reality show The Kardashians, Kylie spoke about what prompted the name change.
Per Us Magazine, she told her mom Kris: “We really didn’t have a name. We thought it was going to come to us when we saw him and it didn’t.
"Then 24 hours before we had to sign the birth certificate — or else they register him without a name — so I felt the pressure to choose a name. Khloé suggested Wolf and I liked the WW. So we put Wolf Webster in that moment and right after I signed the birth certificate I was like, ‘What did I just do?'”
The reality star spoke about why she is yet to reveal her son's new name last month during an appearance on The Late Late Show.
She told host James Corden: “We haven’t officially legally changed the name. We don’t call him Wolf. We’re just not ready to share yet. Travis likes to sometimes, like, one day, he’ll be like, ‘Oooh, this name’s kinda cool,’ and change it again. So we’re just not officially probably gonna change it until [later].”
