Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have legally changed the name of their 20-month-old son months after filing the documents.
Kylie and Travis officially filed to change their son's name in March this year. Originally named Wolfe Jacques Webster, the couple opted for Aire Webster, citing that the original name didn't "feel like him."
The news comes after 26-year-old Kylie first unveiled her intention to rename her son and how to pronounce the new name.
The documents bear the signatures of both Kylie and Travis, confirming their joint decision to change their son's name. In the legal filing, the parents expressed their regrets regarding the initial name choice, stating: "Now that Petitioners have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit."
In new documents obtained by TMZ, the new name has been granted and signed off by a judge as Kylie attended the courtroom virtually.
Travis did not attend, but his signature was enough for the judge to deem this as a decision made by both parents.
Kylie Jenner, who shared the news of her second child's birth with her social media followers in early February last year, initially announced the name "Wolf" shortly after his arrival. She took to her Instagram Story to reveal the name, writing simply: "Wolf Webster."
However, just a month later, Kylie again turned to social media to inform her fans that the name no longer suited her son. In an Instagram Story post, she wrote: "FYI our son’s name isn’t wolf anymore [laughing emoji] We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere. [praying emoji] [sic]"
The revelation of the name change was later discussed in a September 2022 episode of the Kardashians' reality show. Kylie explained her decision to her mother Kris, saying: "We really didn’t have a name. We thought it was going to come to us when we saw him and it didn’t."
She continued: "Then 24 hours before we had to sign the birth certificate - or else they register him without a name - so I felt the pressure to choose a name.
"Khloé suggested Wolf, and I liked the WW. So we put Wolf Webster in that moment, and right after I signed the birth certificate, I was like, ‘What did I just do?'”
The new name, Aire, is said to mean "Lion of God" in Hebrew.
