Lady Gaga has called for President Trump's impeachment after a pro-Trump mob descended upon the Capitol, leaving at least five people dead, including a police officer.
Taking to Twitter, the 'Pokerface' singer, 34, called for the 45th President of the United States to be impeached.
In the video below, Jimmy Kimmel tears into Trump supporters:"I hope we focus to impeach Trump so Congress has the constitutional authority to possibly disqualify him from future election - the #25thAmendment doesn't disqualify him. He incited domestic terror - how much more violence needs to happen? This is terrorism," Gaga, 34, wrote.
Earlier the same day, the singer said that she was upset at the lack of consequences faced by those who stormed the Capitol building.
"I believe the change that so many wish for exists in the work of Black Women activating Georgia. White Supremacy responded as it does often with little repercussions, like on 1/6/21. But this will not undo their work," she tweeted.
However, Gaga is far from the only celebrity to condemn the outgoing president's actions.
Pink told her fans she was "ashamed" of current events, writing, "As a United States Citizen, and the daughter of two veterans, and the sister of another, I am ashamed of what is happening in Washington. Hypocrisy, shame, Embarrassment. Unpatriotic hypocritical sheep drinking poison Kool aid. This a sad day for America."
Meanwhile, others including George Takei, Rob Reiner, Bette Midler, Debra Messing, and Mark Ruffalo demanded that Trump be either removed or impeached, Fox News reports.
Watch the controversial video below:Gaga's criticism of the president comes after she went viral back in November for a pro-Biden video, which, per the news outlet, appeared to mock rural Americans.
In the campaign video, Gaga wore camouflage clothing. Leaning against a truck, she said: "Hey, this is Lady Gaga, I'm voting for America, which means I'm voting for Joe Biden."
She then cracks open a can of beer and adds: "And if you live in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Florida or Arizona, I encourage you to vote. And if you have a friend who lives there, tell them to vote."
