Lady Gaga is going to pay her dog walker's $97,500 medical bills after he was shot by thieves in a violent dognapping.
The singer's dog walker, 30-year-old Ryan Fischer, was reportedly shot in the chest while walking the star's three French bulldogs in Los Angeles as she was filming a movie in Rome.
He was left severely injured - but conscious - at the scene, while two of Gaga's three dogs - named Koji and Gustav - were stolen, with the third running off and later being recovered by police.
A source close to the singer told the Mirror that she "feels horrendous about what happened to Ryan and wants to make sure he is looked after.
"She absolutely adores him and is forever indebted to him for his bravery."

The source added that Gaga intends to compensate Fischer for lost work and "has been wishing him a speedy recovery."
Fischer's family said that while he remains in hospital, he is expected to make a full recovery from the violent attack.
"Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses, and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan," his family told TMZ.
The family also took the opportunity to thank Gaga for her kindness at this time and wish for the return of her dogs before they were eventually dropped off at a police station on Friday (February 26).
"Of course, we also want to thank Lady Gaga who has shown nothing but non-stop love and concern for Ryan and our family right from the outset," Fischer's family said.
"Ryan loves Gustavo and Koji as much as Lady Gaga does; so we join in her plea for their safe return."
The Associated Press reports that an unidentified woman brought the dogs - Koji and Gustav - to the LAPD's Olympic Community Police Station after their kidnapping on Wednesday (February 24).
Capt. Jonathan Tippett, commanding officer of the elite Robbery-Homicide Division, said the woman appeared to be "uninvolved and unassociated" in the violent attack.
The Los Angeles Police Department has released a statement describing the appearance of the thieves in the hope that they will be brought to justice.
One of the suspects is said to be "male, black, 20-25 years of age, blond dreadlocks, wearing a black hoodie, and armed with a semiautomatic handgun." The other suspect is described as "male, black, 20-25 years of age, wearing dark clothing."
