Lana Del Rey has torn into a fan on social media who accused her of voting for Donald Trump in the presidential elections.
Per a recent report by The Metro, the trouble began when a fan took to Twitter to express her suspicions regarding the acclaimed singer's political views.

The Twitter user in question wrote: "I just KNOW Elizabeth voted for Trump, I wish I could look up her voting records. Something doesn't sit right with me.
An irate Lana (real name: Elizabeth Woolridge Grant) was obviously offended that someone thought that she'd voted for the incumbent Republican candidate, and took a screenshot of the fan's comment.
The 35-year-old then shared her screenshot of the comment with her 9.6 million followers on her official Twitter account. She captioned the post: "Go. Fuxk. Yourself."

But that wasn't all. Another fan shared footage from her last Instagram live stream, in which she sings "that’s a lot of red."
Since the color red currently indicates which states are projected to have favored Trump for president in the election, this fan seemed to think this also indicated tacit support for the Republican leader.
However, Del Rey was read with another response, tweeting back:
"Choosing this misleading clip out of the entire livestream Isn’t going to get you more livestreams"
"Stupid." She added in a follow-up.

Indeed, the musician has been openly critical of the Trump administration in the past. Back in 2018, when rapper Kanye West took to Instagram wearing a MAGA hat in support of the president, Lana Del Rey delivered a blistering tirade addressed to Kanye in the comments.
Per Cosmopolitan, she wrote:
"Trump becoming our president was a loss for the country but your support of him is a loss for the culture. I can only assume you relate to his personality on some level."
She continued:
"Delusions of Grandeur, extreme issues with narcissism—none of which would be a talking point if we weren’t speaking about the man leading our country.
"If you think it’s alright to support someone who believes it’s OK to grab a woman by the pussy just because he’s famous-then you need an intervention as much as he does-something so many narcissists will never get because there just isn’t enough help for the issue."
President Trump has also incurred controversy today, by claiming to have won the election before all the ballots were officially counted.
