Larry David has been spotted sticking his fingers in his ears during New York Fashion Week - in what may be the most "on-brand" celebrity moment ever.
As reported by The Independent's Indy100, the 74-year-old actor and comedian was spotted attending the STAUD’s Spring 22 lively fashion show on Sunday evening.
However, also in attendance was senior fashion writer Emilia Petrarca, who caught the Curb Your Enthusiasm star looking unimpressed by the loud music playing as the models walked the runway.
Sharing a clip of David to Instagram, Petrarca captioned the post: "Larry David should come to fashion week more often. I think he’d really enjoy it."
The video has since amassed over 445,000 views, and people in the comments section could not get enough of the straight-talking star's actions.
And the comments rolled in, with people branding the video "iconic", "everything", and "the best.
One person commented: "Well this is it. There is nothing else that matters."
Another added: "Everyone around him acting like they don't see him doing this lol".
Others even speculated if David was filming another season for CYE, but considering the fact that Jeff Garlin - who plays Larry’s manager on the hit sitcom commented saying "I don’t know who he is anymore" - we doubt it.
Over on Twitter, one person reacted to the footage by writing: "The video of Larry David plugging his ears as he sits front row at NY Fashion Week is my kind of energy."
"Haha I met Larry David at a Christmas party and he looked at me like I was a piece of s**t he stood in. And it’s exactly what I wanted from Larry David interaction," another Twitter user added.
And as it turns out, David was also caught plugging his ears during the US Open Women’s Singles final. Check out that footage in the tweet below:
With all this aversion to loud noises, we certainly hope the actor's hearing is okay and that he's really just sick of people enjoying themselves.
Another instance of Larry David being very Larry David was in his response to being cut from Barack Obama's 60th birthday party.
Speaking to the New York Times, David revealed that, after initially being invited, he was cut from the guest list.
"I was so relieved, I screamed 'Thank you! Thank you!' [The person calling] must have thought I was insane," he told the Times. "I hung up, poured myself a drink, and finished my crossword puzzle."
What a true legend. He must be protected at all costs.
