Actress Leah Remini has praised Thandie Newton for speaking out about working with Tom Cruise on the set of Mission: Impossible 2.
In a revealing interview with Vulture magazine earlier this month, Newton described Cruise as "a very dominant individual".
Newton even went on to explain that Cruise got incredibly frustrated with her while filming a particular scene, that he recommended that they rehearse the scene in switched roles.
"So we filmed the entire scene with me being him - because, believe me, I knew the lines by then — and him playing me," she said. "And it was the most unhelpful... I can’t think of anything less revealing. It just pushed me further into a place of terror and insecurity."

Newton, 47, eventually summed up her time with Cruise as a "nightmare."
Now, former Scientologist Leah Remini has hailed Newton as "brave" for speaking out again Cruise.
Speaking to Daily Beast while promoting her upcoming podcast, Scientology: Fair Game, Remini said: "That takes huge balls to do what she did, and if more people speak out in that way, and be brave enough to do so, I think we might get somewhere."
She added: "Tom has gotten away with being this 'nice guy', because that's what Scientology policy says - to create good PR in the world and make those 'good actions' known. But if you actually look at his actions, they're not consistent."
Cruise first became involved with Scientology back in 1990 through his first wife, Mimi Rogers.
Remini was also involved in Scientology for 30 years - before leaving in 2013.
She has since been very outspoken regarding the faith, and even revealed how she allegedly got in trouble when she questioned why Cruise, 58, was the "poster child" for the church.

She said: "He can’t keep a f***ing marriage together, he's jumping on couches, he's acting like he knows anything about postpartum.
"I learned pretty quickly that that’s not something you should be doing, because Tom Cruise is considered a messiah in Scientology.
"This is a man who has not even seen his own daughter in years. That this guy can be running around and having people think he’s this super-nice guy, I don’t get it. But that’s the Hollywood-bulls**t game people play."
Per the New York Post, Cruise has yet to respond to either of the actresses' comments.
