The 72-year-old actor appeared on the show last year to promote his 100th film, Marlowe, but it appeared that the panel - which compromised of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Farah Griffin - left him feeling anything but at ease.
Before the Taken franchise star could talk about the movie, host Behar couldn't help but air out her longtime crush on him, with one of her co-presenters remarking: "Joy wants to get taken by you."
In fact, the awkward segment also included a montage of clips that showed the 80-year-old making strange comments such as: "I would just like to have my ashes sprinkled over Liam Neeson."
Watch the part that made Neeson uncomfortable on The View: While the audience laughed, the Memory actor himself did not see the funny side. Following the interview, he revealed to Rolling Stone that he found the situation entirely "uncomfortable".
"I was in the dressing room drinking a cup of tea, turned the TV up, and I thought, oh, this will be great," the Schindler's List star told the magazine.
"They’re talking about gun violence in America, and I agree that it’s an American problem. I go onstage and join the ladies during the break, and I was congratulating them on this discussion," he continued.
"And then our segment starts, and it’s just all this BS with Joy and Liam Neeson and having a crush, and I’ve known Whoopi for years and Joy a little bit, but I just wasn’t impressed," he went on, stating, "I’m uncomfortable in those situations, you know?"
The Northern Irish star said that he later had a "good, intelligent conversation" with co-host Hostin following the on-air segment, but added: "But then the segment’s all about this thirteen, fourteen-year-old crush. It’s just a bit embarrassing."

Elsewhere in his interview, Neeson revealed that his late wife, Natasha Richardson, wouldn’t have married him if he'd played the iconic role of James Bond.
The Blacklight actor disclosed that he told the 007 producer Barbara Broccoli that he was "interested" in the role but reconsidered after discussing it with his late spouse - who he was engaged to at the time.
"My lovely wife, god rest her soul, said to me while we were shooting 'Nell' down in the Carolinas, 'Liam, I want to tell you something: If you play James Bond, we're not getting married,'" he recalled.

Neeson said that he took her words in stride and said: "I would tease her by going behind her back, making my fingers as though I'm holding a gun, and then [hums the James Bond theme]. I loved doing that s***!"
"She gave me a James Bond ultimatum. And she meant it!" he declared, adding that her light threat might've been because of "all those gorgeous girls in various countries getting into bed and getting out of bed".
Nevertheless, the role ended up going to Pierce Brosnan who starred as James Bond in the 1995 film GoldenEye.
