Lily Allen has candidly opened up about a past sexual encounter with a well-known TV star that took place when she was still very young.
The 40-year-old singer recalled the experience during an episode of her Miss Me? podcast, which she co-hosted with her close friend, presenter Miquita Oliver, before stepping away from the show to focus on other projects.
Known for its unfiltered conversations, the podcast often explored entertainment news, current events, and personal stories from the pair’s time in the industry - including Allen’s revelation.
Although she chose not to reveal his identity, the 'Smile' hitmaker noted that the encounter with the TV star left a lasting impression, not necessarily for good reasons.
“I’m not going to say this person’s name, but you know that TV star that I had sex with when I was very young?" she said. "When I went to his hotel, he put on the Moby album," she continued. “And I cannot, if it comes on, I’m just like… it was that period of time and he thought it was so cool."
Allen Previously Spoke About Her Past Hookups
This isn't the first time the 'Smile' hitmaker has discussed her past hookups, as she spoke about one in her 2018 memoir, My Thoughts Exactly, which is about "feminism, the tabloids, money, faking orgasms, bad managers, fame, sexual abuse, mental health, narcissism, co-dependency, festivals, motherhood, stalking and parking tickets," per NME.
In the book, Allen referred to the time she slept with a TV star after watching him in a charity football game. However, she didn’t confirm in the podcast episode whether she was talking about the same person or not.
"After the match, the TV star left his football gear in my dad’s car, and I was dispatched to his hotel to return it," she said. “We arranged to meet in the bar there. He bought me a couple of drinks, then took me up to his room and had sex with me. I was 14. He was 19, but to me, he seemed like someone from a different generation. Afterwards, I felt funny about it. I knew what had happened wasn’t right.”
"My dad turned it into a shtick with his friends. They made up elaborate schemes to blackmail the guy and they rehearsed how they'd call him up and put the s**ts up him. I just know that my dad turned me having sex with this guy I hardly knew into a joke between him and his mates. That didn't make me feel good," she added.
Abortion confession
In a separate, equally honest discussion on the Miss Me? podcast, the 'Hard Out Here' songstress revealed that she "can't remember" exactly how many abortions she has had in her lifetime.
Allen told her co-host that she would "get pregnant all the time," adding: “Abortions, I’ve had a few, but then again, I can’t remember exactly how many… I think maybe like, I want to say four or five.”
Oliver chimed in that she’s had “about five, too," and then said: “Lily, I’m so happy I can say that and you can say it and no one came to shoot us down, no judgment... We’ve had about the same amount of abortions.”
The 'LDN' songstress then shared one of her experiences: “I remember once getting pregnant and the man paying for my abortion, and me thinking it was so romantic.” However, her view later changed as she realized that it's not "generous or romantic." She then alleged that the man never texted her afterward. “Fair [to be honest], I was a f***en crazy b***h, still am,” she quipped.
