Good as Hell singer Lizzo has provided the perfect riposte to body shamers online with her latest workout video shared to social media.

Throughout her highly successful career in music thus far, Lizzo has used her platform to talk about body positivity and provide her many fans with an inspirational message when it comes to loving and accepting the skin you're in, rather than chasing impossible-to-achieve beauty standards.

Now, in a new video, Lizzo has revealed that she's been working out "consistently for the last five years”.

Per the Independent, the singer went on to say;

“It may come as a surprise to some of y’all, that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type.

“I’m working out to have my ideal body type. And you know what type that is? None of your f***ing business.”

The video shows Lizzo working out and posing in swimwear, while a voiceover of her speaking plays.

“Because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job,” she says;

“So next time you want to come to somebody and judge them, whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonald’s or work out or not work out, how about you look at your own f***ing self and worry about your own goddamn body, because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside.”

She finished the video by saying, "“health is also what happens on the inside, and a lot of y’all need to do a f***ing cleanse for your insides”.

Yesterday, Lizzo also took to social to send a message to those who write her name in comments every time there is a "big girl" on TikTok.

“Every time there is a big girl on this app, I find that people always put my name in the comments,” she said:

“And to the people who always be putting my name in the comments, thank you.

“Because, you know what? If every time you see a big girl on this app loving on herself and putting herself out there and being confident and loving her body, you think of me? Or you think she looks like me? B***h that is a what? Compliment.”
