Logan Paul believes he will retire as the "greatest boxer on the planet" if he beats Floyd Mayweather in the ring this weekend.
The 26-year-old YouTuber will be fighting the 44-year-old former boxing pro on Sunday, June 6, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
Logan said of his upcoming fight with Mayweather on Showtime's Inside Mayweather vs. Paul: "I'm going to knock him out and become the greatest boxer on the planet. Then I'm going to retire and not give Floyd the rematch.
"He doesn't know who he's getting in the ring with. He really thinks I'm a YouTuber. He really thinks I'm a fake fighter. I get it. Everything that I've portrayed online says the same thing."
Logan added: "But we're really about this life now. Floyd underestimating me is going to hurt him, I think. If you think about it, this truly is one of the most special, historic events ever. You have one of the greatest boxers of our generation, fighting, uh, me."
While boxers are known for their bravado, it must be reiterated that Mayweather is considered one of the greatest boxers of all time. The boxing legend, who retired in 2017, has never lost a professional boxing match and has an undefeated record of 50 wins.
Mayweather has fought some of the most reputable boxers there are including Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao, and the current pound-for-pound number one Canelo Alvarez.
Incredibly, he beat every single one of them - and yet Logan is seemingly confident about his chances.

In comparison, Logan has only ever fought fellow YouTube superstar KSI.
The first time the pair went head to head on August 25, 2018, the fight resulted in a majority draw, with two judges scoring it 57-57 and the other 58-57 in favor of KSI.
As part of their highly anticipated rematch, KSI had defeated Logan Paul by judges' decision. The judges scored the bout 55-56 57-54 56-55 in favor of KSI.
In the US, the fight between Logan and Mayweather will commence at 8 PM EDT (5 PM PDT) on Sunday, June 6, and can be watched on Showtime pay-per-view for $49.95.
In the UK, it will start at 1 AM BST on Monday, June 7, and will be available to watch on Sky Sports Box Office.
