Love & Marriage: Huntsville star KeKe Jabbar has sadly passed away at the age of 42.
The late reality TV star featured on the series which followed a group of couples who launched a real estate venture in Huntsville, Alabama.
Eight seasons of the show have aired on Oprah Winfrey’s TV network OWN, with Jabbar becoming one of the series’ breakout stars.
Jabbar's passing was announced on Tuesday (July 2) by blogger Marcella Speaks during a YouTube livestream, as reported by TMZ.
The YouTuber shared that Jabbar died "peacefully at home surrounded in love." The cause of death was not disclosed.
She also read the family's statement on the social media platform, sharing: "It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke."
"She was a mom, a sister, and a great friend full of life, love and laughter. She will be sorely missed and at this time, we are asking for respect and privacy in our moment of grief while we process this great loss. The Jabbar Family and the Scott Family," she concluded.
The late star's death was also confirmed on Instagram by her cousin and costar, LaTisha Moore Scott, who requested privacy amid the devastating news.
"At this time we are asking for RESPECT, and PRIVACY in our moment of grief, while we process this great loss! This is hard for our family!!!!!" she penned.
Following the Love & Marriage star's passing, fans have taken to social media to share tribute posts.
"Wow...As a fan of love and marriage Huntsville I am soo sad to hear of the loss of KeKe Jabbar. Praying for her family, especially her husband and kids. May God be with them during this time," one user wrote on X.
"I'm so sorry to hear that Keke has passed away. My heart goes out to her children, parents, husband, Tisha, and all their family. Prayers for all," a second user shared.
Some people have expressed condolences in the comment section of Keke's final Instagram post. The May 27 video showed her announcing her swim wig line while celebrating Memorial Day weekend with her family at the pool.
"I didn't know her but I'm heartbroken that she passed away. My condolences to all who loved her," someone said, while another added: "Rip KeKe! I’m so thankful I was never mean to you and always wanted to see you win. I have our conversations in my inbox. You were always so kind. Go take your crown and rest."
Jabbar is survived by her three children, her husband, her parents, and cousins.
