In case you missed the big news, Disney is planning to reboot the Home Alone movie. Along with several other movie remakes, like Night At The Museum and Cheaper By The Dozen, Home Alone will be featured on their new streaming platform. Disney+ is planning on launching in November with classic content and several new series.

Macaulay Culkin, albeit in tongue-in-cheek fashion, let Disney know he had some ideas about a role reprisal as Kevin McCallister, who gets left home alone while his parents take a vacation to Paris for the week. The former child star put in his two cents on the upcoming project as he shared a hilarious photo about what he thinks the movie would really look like if he starred in it again.

In his tweeted photo, Macaulay is laying on his couch in his underwear. He rests a bowl of of pasta on his protruding stomach and his laptop on his lap. Perhaps, this is an inspiring nod to his Kevin eating junk food while watching TV in the 1990 original movie.

He captioned the photo: "This is what an updated Home Alone would actually look like." Later, he tagged Disney and added: "Hey Disney, call me!"

Though he's now 38 years old, Macaulay Culkin is by far still best known for his role as Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone movie series, which started when he was eight. We can only hope that he'll be included in some way in the reboot, even if it's only as a cameo appearance as one of the robbers.

But we'll have to at least wait until November to find out. And with 7,500 TV episodes and more than 400 movies to chose from on Disney+ by next year, maybe we'll have a rebooted sequel as well. Fingers crossed.
