Madonna has proved that she's not going to let her recent injury get her down, as she took to Instagram to share a rather racy selfie.

The 61-year-old ensured her breasts were covered as she carefully wrapped her arms around herself. She can also be seen leaning on a crutch.

"Everyone has a Crutch................" she captioned the post to her 15.2 million Instagram followers.

The 'Like A Virgin' singer suffered a slew of injuries earlier this year, forcing her to undergo knee surgery. She has reportedly been using a cane ever since she fell on stage back in March.

At the time, Madonna wrote on Instagram about hurting her knees after falling on stage two nights prior "when a chair was literally pulled out from underneath me by mistake and I landed on the floor on my tail bone".

The chart-topper proceeded to describe herself as "a broken doll held together with tape and glue" as she announced she was taking some time off from her Madame X tour in order to recover.

The Queen of Pop certainly hasn't been shy on Instagram recently:

In May, Madonna was seen leaving hospital in crutches after undergoing regenerative treatment for missing cartilage.

However, this has not stopped her from venturing out, in particular, to show her support for the Black Lives Matter movement by marching alongside protestors in London.

Several months ago, Madonna disclosed that she had tested positive for Covid-19 antibodies, meaning she had come into contact with the virus. Saying that she had taken ill during her Madame X tor in Paris in March, she explained that she has since recovered.

"When you test positive for anti-bodies it means you HAD the virus, which I clearly did as I was sick at the end of my tour in Paris over 7 weeks ago, along with many other artists in my show but at the time," she wrote on Instagram.

"Im Grateful that I can be a part of supporting Research to Find the cure for Covid -19!!  And just to clear things up for people who would rather believe sensationalist headlines than do their own research about the nature of this virus - I am not currently sick.

"When you test positive for anti-bodies it means you HAD the virus which I. clearly did as I was sick at the end of my tour in Paris over 7 weeks ago along with many other artists in my show but at the time. We all thought we had a very bad flu. Thank God we are all healthy and well now. Hope that clears things up for the band wagon jumpers!! Knowledge is Power! [sic]"

The music legend has also pledged to donate $1.1 million to help find a vaccine.
