I don't know much about what it's like to be a movie star but - from the outside, at least - it looks like actors have a pretty great time at work. They get flown out to unique and exciting locations in order to film shots, enjoy the luxury of always performing different roles instead of sitting at the same boring office desk each day, and, of course, they get paid an absolute mint for what amounts to just a few months' work.
Plus, if Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell's accounts are anything to go by, it seems like they have a lot of fun on set, too.

Last year, Ferrell and Wahlberg starred alongside one another in Daddy's Home 2 - a sequel to the film which saw the pair of them square off as rivals in competition for who can be the best dad. The second instalment follows the same basic premise, only this time, Ferrell's and Wahlberg's fathers (played by John Lithgow and Mel Gibson, respectively) join in with the competitive antics.
While on set, though, the pair apparently pulled some pranks on one another that had nothing to do with being in character.
In a recent stream on Google Fan, Wahlberg revealed that he had teamed up with Ferrell's on-screen father in order to really weird out his co-star.
"I did prank Will – it was about the kissing scene with John Lithgow," he explained. "I would encourage John to kiss him as often as possible and make them long and awkward. And not necessarily a wet, open-mouthed kiss but he would definitely blow air into his mouth and nasal passage."
You can see the clip he's talking about right here:
Sure, it's a pretty weird prank to play on somebody - but, if we've learnt anything about the Transformers star recently, it's that he's a pretty weird guy.
A couple of weeks back, the actor responded to rumours that he had achieved his physique through using steroids by saying his muscles were completely natural. "If you wanna do something right, you've gotta work hard, baby," he said - and he wasn't kidding.
He then proceeded to share his totally insane daily routine, which begins at 2:30am and runs through until 7.30pm. Many have doubted whether the routine is 100 per cent accurate or not, especially as it claims he prays for half an hour each morning and showers for two hours a day (the same amount of time he dedicates to his family/meetings/work calls), but - given how ripped he is - his two and a half hours of workouts each day don't seem to be a lie.

Ferrell has not ever made his daily routine known (and we doubt it's anything as intense as Wahlberg's, anyway), but a recent blooper reel from his movie Step Brothers have given us a better idea of what the Elf star is like when he's not in character.
Even though they seem like completely different people, though, Ferrell and Wahlberg seem to get on pretty well. Or, at least, they did once upon a time - who knows how well they get on now after the prank with John Lithgow!
