Mark Wahlberg shows off his impressive physique and ripped abs: 'This is 50'

Mark Wahlberg is proving that his ridiculous daily routine is still paying off, as he's showed off his incredible body at 50 years old.

The Uncharted star turned the big 5-0 back in June of last year, but rather than get comfortable in his 50s (much like I've done in my 30s), he's still hitting the gym and seeing the results.

In a series of recent shirtless Instagram posts, the actor has proudly displayed his physique and touted what it takes to look as ripped as he does at 50.

In one post, he jokes in the caption: "Had to whisper to not upset my wife for not wearing a shirt" - before plugging his range of products from Performance Inspired Nutrition, the company he co-founded with friend Tom Dowd.

Another post sees Wahlberg flexing in front of a mirror, as he writes in the caption: "50!! The secret is Performance Inspired Nutrition @performinspired let’s go!! Inspired to be better."

Each of his shirtless posts racks up thousands of comments from adoring fans and other celebrities - such as Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez, who commented: "Killin it my man!"

And in a third post shared on Tuesday, Wahlberg harked back to his viral daily routine and revealed that his private chef, Lawrence Duran, woke him up at 3:00AM so that he could start the day right:

In each of his posts, Wahlberg also shouted out his Performance Inspired Nutrition brand, which the actor says is "committed to helping inspire people to live a more active and healthy lifestyle while giving back through our charity commitment."

You may remember back in 2018, when Wahlberg stunned his fans by revealing his grueling daily routine, which consisted of two workouts a day and set meal times.

Here’s what the actor's typical daily schedule looks like:

  • 2:30AM: Wake up
  • 2:45AM: Prayer time
  • 3:15AM: Breakfast
  • 3:40 to 5:15AM: Workout
  • 5:30AM: Post-workout meal
  • 6:00AM: Shower
  • 7:30AM: Golf
  • 8:00AM: Snack
  • 9:30AM: Cryo chamber recovery
  • 10:30AM: Snack
  • 11:00AM: Family time/meetings/work calls
  • 1:00PM: Lunch
  • 2:00PM: Meetings/work calls

  • 4:00PM: Workout #2
  • 5:00PM: Shower

I'm exhausted just reading it - but it can't be denied that Wahlberg is seeing incredible results and looking great for his age!
