If excerpts of Matthew Perry's yet-to-be-released memoir are anything to go by, the Friends alum really has no qualms about sharing less-than-positive anecdotes about his fellow celebrities.

Earlier this week, quotes from Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing, which is set for release on November 1, surfaced.

And in them, Perry appeared to take aim at Hollywood nice guy Keanu Reeves - without really explaining what his beef with him is about.

Now, the 17 Again star has claimed not only that he went on a date with Cameron Diaz but that she hit him in the face - accidentally, of course!

Per Page Six, Perry, now 53, was set up on a date with Diaz, now 50, shortly after she and Justin Timberlake broke up in 2007.

According to the excerpt obtained by the outlet, Diaz got "immediately stoned" during a group dinner party and "wasn’t interested in [him] at all."

Perry remembered saying "something witty" to the Shrek star during a game of Pictionary, to which he claims she responded by "accidentally" hitting him in the face, having aimed for his shoulder.

"Are you f***ing kidding me?" he recalled saying to the Charlie's Angels actress.

As stated earlier, Diaz certainly isn't the only A-lister Perry has written about in his autobiography. He also appeared to share a dislike for Matrix star Keanu Reeves.

He mentions Reeve after first talking about Stand by Me actor River Phoenix's fatal drug overdose in 1993.

"Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?" Perry writes, per Page Six.

"River was a beautiful man inside and out and too beautiful for this world, it turned out. It always seems to be the really talented guys who go down."

Elsewhere in the autobiography, Perry takes aim at Reeves again, this time while discussing the passing of actor and comedian Chris Farley.

"I punched a hole through Jennifer Aniston's dressing room wall when I found out," he writes. "Keanu Reeves walks among us."

While this is the first time most have heard of Perry's antagonistic feelings towards Reeves, it's less surprising that he had written about actors who'd died from drug overdoses, given that he himself had a near-fatal reliance on drugs.

In his book, Perry speaks candidly about how he had nearly died as a result of his addiction to drugs and alcohol. And in a recent interview with The New York Times, the actor, who recently celebrated 18 months of sobriety, revealed that he had spent a staggering $9 million trying to get clean.

Perry had previously opened up about almost dying from an opioid addiction, with his reliance on drugs leaving him with a 2% chance of survival after opioids caused his colon to burst and rendered him comatose for two weeks.
