Meghan Markle has shared an intimate look at her family life in California, including a rare glimpse of her children, Archie and Lilibet, in a new video.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, was seen with her husband, Prince Harry, 41, and their two children during an outing to Lane Farms in Santa Barbara, followed by a cozy pumpkin-carving session at home.
The clip, which was shared on Instagram, showed the kids as they played around, and also highlighted appearances from Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, and close friend Markus Anderson.

Markle finally shows Archie and Lilibet's faces
In one time-lapse moment, Harry was seen carving a pumpkin while Archie and Lili played in the background, offering a rare view of their faces.
Though the footage was blurry, it marked the first time Lilibet's face had been shared publicly since 2022, when an official portrait was released for her birthday. Archie’s face had not been seen since the Sussexes' 2021 Christmas card.
Fans were quick to notice the rare moment: "While Daddy was carving a pumpkin, the kids were playing around," one remarked, per Daily Mail. Another added: “The video was so fast I didn’t even notice them!”
Previously, the former Suits actress has been careful to keep her children’s privacy intact, often only showing the back of their heads in social media posts.
However, since returning to Instagram in early 2025, she has gradually revealed more of her children’s faces. For instance, she showed the top half of Lilibet’s face in a post celebrating her fourth birthday in June.
Archie, on the other hand, has appeared in home videos, such as those featured in the Sussexes’ 2022 Netflix documentary, which included images of his first birthday celebrations and his sweet American accent.

Meghan and Harry's Commitment to Protecting Their Children
The couple has long been outspoken about their efforts to protect their kids from the pressures of the public eye and the harmful effects of the internet.
In an interview with CBS, Markle spoke about the challenges of parenting in the digital age, particularly as it pertains to her children. "Our kids are young. They're three and five. They're amazing," she shared. "But all you want to do as parents is protect them."
"And so, as we can see what's happening in the online space, we know that there's a lot of work to be done there, and we're just happy to be able to be a part of change for good," she added.
Markle highlighted their initiative, The Parents’ Network, a program created to offer a safe space for families navigating the complexities of the digital world.
Prince Harry, reflecting on the difficulties parents face in identifying signs of online harm, stated: “At this point, we’ve got to the stage where almost every parent needs to be a first responder. And even the best first responders in the world wouldn’t be able to tell the signs of possible suicide."
