Mia Khalifa has donated a whopping $160,000 to charity from her OnlyFans earnings.

The former adult actress-turned-sports pundit joined the subscription platform in September of last year, charging fans $11.99 for her exclusive content - but with the disclaimer that there would be no nudity.

Now, she has taken to Instagram to inform her fans that she's putting her colossal earnings from the venture to good use.

Mia wrote to her 22.4 million followers: "I just want to thank everyone who has supported me on OnlyFans since September.

"You guys have helped me donate over $160k to charities and organizations that mean the most to me, I'm so grateful for the platform and all the incredible, strong, determined women I've met through the internet because of it.

"You guys have taught me so much and helped me grow as a person in more ways than I can ever thank you for."

The former adult film star announced that she had joined OnlyFans last year, writing: "THANK YOU SO F***ING MUCH for supporting me on this new and exciting platform.

"I am finally growing into my self-confidence in who I am and the decisions I make for me, and this is my way of being myself outside the perimeters of conventional social media."

She continued: "Even though I will not be creating nude content, I am going to be treating this page like my Instagram without terms of service lol.

"I want to take my power back and just post what I want and what makes me feel good, and I'm just so thankful that y'all are along for this wild ride.

"This is all very new to me, I've never been on a platform as fan-facing, so any suggestions for improving my presence here is greatly appreciated! I love you!"

However, this is not the first time that the now presenter has raised money for charity, and last year, she actioned off her "famous glasses" to raise money for those affected by the August explosion in Beirut, Lebanon.

The 27-year-old raised $100,000 when she sold her famous glasses online.

Describing the online sale, Khalifa said: "I'm just trying to get creative, there's always more that can be done and this felt like a cheeky way to raise funds and make sure the conversation and attention doesn't diverge from this crisis."
