Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have revealed that they don't bathe their children unless "you can see dirt on them".
The couple opened up about their unusual parenting habits for their two children, daughter Wyatt Isabelle, six, and son Dimitri Portwood, four, in a recent interview on the Armchair Expert podcast.
Bathing was brought up when co-hosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman started discussing how frequently they take a shower, and it was then that Shepard, 46, said that Padman, 33, "should not be getting rid of the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day."
In response to this, Kunis, 37, and Kutcher, 43, agreed.

"I can't believe I am in the minority here of washing my whole body in the shower. Who taught you to not wash?" Padman asked, as Kunis replied: "I didn't have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn't shower much anyway."
"But when I had children, I also didn't wash them every day," the Bad Moms actress said. "I wasn't that parent that bathed my newborns - ever."
Shepard said that he and his wife Kristen Bell bathed their children Lincoln, eight, and Delta, six, every day as "part of a nighttime routine," however, they stopped when they got older.
"That's how we feel about our children," Kunis said.
Kutcher added: "Now, here's the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there's no point."

One Twitter user wrote: "When ashton kutcher and mila kunis kids walk into class [sic]," alongside a meme.
A second added: "Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis treat their kids like I treat my jeans."
A third shared a gif of Spongebob yawning with the caption: "Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher when they think about taking a shower."
A fourth wrote: "I bet Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher don't wash their legs either."
According to Mayo Clinic, using excessive soap on children "can dry out his or her skin."
Joyce French, cleaning expert at HomeHow, meanwhile, said that it's recommended that children aged 0 to 5 are bathed two to three times a week.
She said: "Kids starting school may require a daily scrub; however, a thorough wash three times a week is still sufficient enough."
Per The Sun, Parenting expert and qualified Early Years Practitioner Kirsty wrote on her website: "Under 5's don't need to be bathed every day, unless they are really mucky, and it's not necessary to use lots of products on them.
"Often kids with severe eczema, for instance, can be advised to bath in only water, two to three times a week."
