Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that some of her biggest fans are having trouble "accepting" that she's all grown up.
The actor first gained international fame back in 2016 after her role as the mysterious and powerful Eleven in the Netflix series Stranger Things. Brown was just 12 years old when she first appeared on the critically acclaimed sci-fi show, meaning we have watched the young star grow up into a multi-talented teenager.
It has always been a case that Brown is talented beyond her years, and Time magazine even named her one of its 100 Most Influential People of 2018 - making her the youngest person ever to be named on the list.
But just like a parent watching their child pack up and leave for college, the now-17-year-old has admitted that some of her fans find it difficult to accept that she's all grown up.

"Being a young girl, people watch you grow up, right? And they've almost become invested in your growth and your journey, but they aren't ready to accept the fact that you're growing up," she said.
Brown then spoke about the backlash she has received due to some of her outfit choices for red-carpet events.
Perhaps most-famously at last year's Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, a then-15-year-old Brown received a lot of comments for her outfit choice - pictured below:

In response, one Twitter user wrote: "Millie Bobby Brown is 15 years old. Everyone who is responsible for this look needs to get fired".
Another added: "She looks like she could be Natalie Portman or Celine Dion. I don't see a 15 year old here. She looks like she's an adult cast member crashing the teen photo."
Speaking to MTV, Brown - who turned 17 in February - said: "[The fans are] not accepting it."
Laughing, she then added: "I've completely accepted it. You know, I'm ready.
"And it's kind of like, I have 50 million people like my parents and they're like, 'Noo!' And my parents are like, 'Yay! Thank God, you're 17!'"
Brown then added that she wants to "evolve", and doesn't want the industry to hold her back from certain roles just because of her age.
