Katy Perry has proudly embraced motherhood by wearing a breastfeeding-friendly jumpsuit during the American Idol auditions.
The singer and new mother, 36, surprised her fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan on Sunday night's episode (March 14) when she revealed that her Christian Siriano cow-print dress had a breastfeeding panel, which she proceeded to whip off to show how it worked.
"Mommy dearest is in the room right now, Richie said," which is what prompted Perry's "show and tell."
"If you need to feed, I'm ready to go!" Perry declared before revealing that she was wearing a nude-colored bra under the cow-print dress.

The 'Firework' singer welcomed her first child, daughter Daisy Dove, with her fiancé Orlando Bloom in August of last year, and just two months after giving birth, she returned to working as a judge on the talent show.
In a "mom-tage" that aired as part of Sunday night's episode, she said that she wasn't sure if she still has the energy to be a judge on the show as she kicked her feet up on the desk.

Perry's newfound motherhood was praised by Richie, who described the singer's experience of becoming a mom as "the most phenomenal transition from any season to now".
The 'I Kissed a Girl' singer has been opened up about her experiences as a new mom since giving birth and showed off her Spanx in a new TikTok.
Back in December, Perry shared a video of herself strutting towards the camera in full pop-star glam, modeling a shiny blue trench coat and heels with the words "power," "sex" and "confidence" flashing on the screen.
However, while Perry has embraced motherhood with good humor, she has also opened up about the intensity of her new job.
This is not the firs time Perry has used her platform to normalize breastfeeding:In an interview with Hello! magazine, she said: "I started filming American Idol, season four, five weeks after I had given birth and I didn't plan on it but oh my God that was so intense.
"Going back to work and breastfeeding. Holy c***, this is what women do. Oh my god. Women are the most powerful beings on the planet."
And not only is she right, but it is awesome to see such a high-profile celebrity not only normalize breastfeeding, but also candidly discuss the struggles new moms can face after giving birth.
