While Olympians are at the top of their selected sport, that doesn't always mean that they are compensated too well.

So some turn to other lines of work to help fund the strict training they have to undertake to maintain their position at the top.

Juliane Seyfarth, a prominent German ski jumper who competed in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, exemplifies this trend.

While her athletic achievements are celebrated, Seyfarth also runs a less conventional side business on social media.

Under the alias Nayeli Rose, Seyfarth maintains an Instagram account filled with topless photos and revealing shots.

Seyfarth isn’t shy about her ventures, having graced the cover of Playboy magazine in 2021.

Cited by the Mirror, she shared her excitement on Instagram: "Hello everyone. Now I can say it, I was allowed to go with my loved one @luke_craft_photography to shoot the cover and the title series for the new Playboy @playboygermany.

“It was a great adventure and I am very happy and thankful for this time and our great pictures. A lot of love to everyone involved, getting to know each other and working with you is worth gold."

While showcasing her athletic physique, she mentioned that the page would help promote her ski-jumping career. She has previously described her extra-curricular activities as a "kind of art" that gave her a "feeling of freedom."

The German athlete also launched her own calendar for 2023, filled with many bold pictures of herself. While promoting it to her numerous followers, she added: "It’s time for 2023.

"There’s a calendar from me with photos in beautiful locations of Crete, Cuba, Fuerteventura, and Germany - uncensored."

She even uploaded a video of herself signing some copies of the calendar, likely thrilling her most passionate fans.

Seyfarth is not alone in this entrepreneurial spirit. Numerous Olympians have turned to platforms like OnlyFans to boost their earnings.

British diver Jack Laugher, 29, recently launched an OnlyFans account, charging fans $10 a month for access.

"Obviously, I've got what people want," Laugher told The Telegraph. "I'll happily cash in on that. I'm a bit of a hustler and I want a bit more money if I can."

He explained the financial motivation, adding: "The funding hasn't changed in years. I'm top three in the world, and it is $36,000 a year."
