The media mogul received the Pillar Award, which was for recognizing leadership and support for the Academy Museum, per The Hollywood Reporter. Other stars like Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, and Sofia Coppola were also honored at the special event.

Oprah took to Instagram to share pictures of her preparations for the red carpet, writing in the caption: "It’s a purple kind of night. Off to the @academymuseum gala with my @thecolorpurple family."

Many users took to the platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to share their awe-struck reaction to her sensational look, with one person stating: "Oprah has never looked better."

Another interjected: "Wow. Oprah looks AMAZING. She's in the best shape of her life...Oprah would outshine anyone in that dress," and then quipped: "With the exception of Beyonce, probably."

Oprah's red carpet appearance comes two months after she stated that she won't use the weight loss drug Ozempic, which is a Type 2 diabetes medication that doctors are prescribing off-label for shedding body weight.

The stalwart TV host opened up about this in September on her The Life You Want series where she was joined by panelists Weight Watchers CEO Sima Sistani, psychologist Rachel Goldman, and obesity specialists Fatima Cody Stanford and Melanie Jay.

Speaking to the audience, the Golden Globe winner said: "I don't know that there is another public person whose weight struggles have been exploited as much as mine," per Daily Mail.

"One of the things I carried so much shame for, and even when I first started hearing about the weight loss drugs, at the same time I was going through knee surgery and I felt, 'I've got to do this on my own because if I take the drug, that's the easy way out,'" she said.

"There's a part of me that feels - like I think a lot of people feel with bariatric surgery - that I've got to do it the hard way, I've got to keep climbing the mountains, I've got to keep suffering and I've got to do that because otherwise I somehow cheated myself," she concluded.

Oprah concluded that she hopes the discussions "begin the un-shaming" when it comes to how media examined weight and obesity-related issues.
