Seth Rogen is a busy man. As a successful actor, writer, and producer, it is no wonder the star has admitted he does not have time to be a father.

The Canadian actor, 40, and his wife, Lauren Miller, are both open and honest about their mutual plans to stay childless. Yes, it may go against what you see from most celebs on social media, but it certainly is refreshing to see a star be so open and honest about NOT wanting a family.

In fact, during his appearance on The Howard Stern Show last year, the Superbad star opted to share more about his decision.

Host Howard Stern, 68, started by asking Rogen whether he and his wife ever wanted kids to which the actor replied with a firm “no.”

When explaining how he has the time to work on all the projects he does, the Bad Neighbors actor said: “The answer is, I don’t have kids. If people are like, ‘how do you do pottery and write a book and make all these movies and TV shows?’

“It’s that I don't have kids, I have nothing else to do.”

The star has a passion for pottery, which if you follow Rogen’s Instagram, you would probably already know.

The actor also admitted that wife Lauren wanted kids even “less than I do.”

Rogen married actress Miller in 2011, and the couple has since worked alongside each other on several movies, including Sausage Party (2016).

Watch the interview clip here:

In the interview, Rogen confessed: “The thing is, I think I could wrap my head around it [having kids], but I think she’s just like uh no.”

The couple have no regrets though, as Rogen puts it: “We have so much fun.

“I don’t know anyone who gets as much happiness out of their kids as we get out of our non-kids.”

Radio host Stern - who has plenty of experience from parenting his own three children - then told Rogan: “It’s not an easy haul having kids. You can’t be narcissistic, you have to give yourself over to parenting, and they’ve gotta be the priority.”

To which Rogen replied: “Yeah, I don’t want that. That does not sound fun to me.”

Back in 2018, the actor did seem more open to the idea of having kids.

Rogen told Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast, per People: “It’s an active conversation. It’s something we talk about. I honestly think I would be good at it.”

However, four years later, it is a different story for the couple.

Fortunately, Rogen’s parents are also supportive of his decision, as they told US Weekly magazine they are not pressuring him to have kids.

The Knocked Up star’s father, Mark Rogen, said: “We try not to pressure them. We think they’ll make the right decisions for themselves.”

With more projects in the pipeline for Rogen, including his next role as Donkey Kong in The Super Mario Bros. Movie released next year, it seems he won’t be putting his life on hold to have children anytime soon.
