Paige VanZant's boxing debut match against Elle Brooke didn't quite go as many of her fans expected.

The 30-year-old UFC veteran made her boxing debut against 26-year-old Brooke on Saturday, May 25, as part of the Misfits X 15 competition.

Before the match for the middleweight female world championship, the fighters participated in a racy weigh-in.

The ex-MMA star donned a pink 80s aerobic-inspired outfit, while the English OnlyFans model struck several poses for the photographers in a black bra and pants.

Despite being a heavy favorite due to her professional MMA background, VanZant failed to impress as she was toppled by the influencer at the end of Round 1.

However, VanZant held on and managed to do well enough in the five-round fight.

One judge gave it to Brooke 48-46, a second official went 48-46 for VanZant, and the third had it 47-47 as the contest was declared a draw, as reported by Talk Sport. As a result, Brooke retained her Misfits Boxing middleweight title.

Viewers have voiced their reactions to the OnlyFans creator dropping the MMA athlete on social media, with one X (formerly Twitter) user writing: "This was actually insane."

Another chimed in: "A good knockdown as well," and a third added: "Elle Brooke is the best female fighter. Her technique is amazing."

Meanwhile, others expressed their support for Brooke, stating that they believed that she won the match.

“You put on an amazing performance Elle! I personally thought you won, but I guess we’ll see your hand get raised on the next one," one fan gushed.

A second added: "Way to go Champ congratulations on your win! I’m Proud of you Elle."

The current champion opened up about her split draw with Misfits Boxing, sharing: "Yeah, obviously, I didn't get the win, but I'm still the champ."

"This was the biggest step up for any influencer. Arguably, I could have won that; it could have gone either way, whatever. But yeah, this isn't even my home turf. This will be a great fight in London, number two," Brooke added.

VanZant also said in an additional interview that she knew it would be "tough" to fight the whole camp, adding: "I knew how tough she was. I took the fight for a reason. I was excited. I watched her past fights...I knew it’d be tough. It is what it is. It sets up the perfect rematch."

The UFC star took to Instagram last night to share a post about a rematch in August at the O2 Arena in London, England.
