The 31-year-old comedian has been photographed enjoying a sun-soaked getaway in Palm Beach, Florida, with his new flame, 29-year-old model and actress Elsie Hewitt.

Over the weekend, the duo was photographed indulging in some oceanic affection, sharing kisses amidst the waves.

This budding romance follows Davidson's split from actress Madelyn Cline in July 2024, after nearly ten months together. Hewitt, on the other hand, has been linked to notable figures such as Ryan Phillippe, Benny Blanco, and Jason Sudeikis.

Despite their past high-profile relationships, sources suggest that Davidson and Hewitt's current connection is different, with Hewitt respecting Davidson's desire for privacy.

While Davidson's romantic life flourishes, he's also been undergoing a significant transformation—removing nearly all of his 200 tattoos.

Describing the process as "terrible," Davidson has shared that it involves burning off layers of skin multiple times, making it both time-consuming and painful.

He has expressed a desire for a "clean slate," aiming to keep only two or three of his tattoos.

So the latest photos showing him still heavily inked has got everyone talking.

One person questioned: "I thought he got rid of all his tattoos?"

A second said: "How does he have tattoos again ?? What."

While a third asked: "Didnt he just get rid of all his tattoos??"

The motivation behind this extensive tattoo removal stems partly from his professional aspirations.

Davidson has noted that having fewer tattoos simplifies the makeup process for film roles, reducing the time spent covering up ink before shoots.

Davidson later confirmed this himself, telling Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2021 that he wanted to avoid long makeup sessions on set.

"I honestly never thought that I would get the opportunity to act, and I love it a lot," he shared at the time. "It takes like three hours - you have to get there like three hours earlier - to cover all your tattoos. For some reason, people in movies they don't have them that much."

This practical consideration, combined with personal growth and a shift in self-perception, has driven his commitment to the lengthy and costly removal journey.

The tattoo removal process has been both painful and costly, with Davidson reportedly spending around $200,000.

Describing the experience, he said: "It's worse [than getting a tattoo]. They gotta burn off a layer of your skin. Then, it has to heal for, like, six-to-eight weeks. You can't get in the sunlight, and then you got to do it, like, 12 more times."
