Post Malone should be having a great year, following the smash success of his sophomore album, Beerbongs & Bentleys. He's already won a Billboard Music Award and an MTV Video Music Award for hit single. There's a good chance he'll win a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song, and Artist Who Most Needs A Shower.
However, Post Malone has had an unlucky streak this summer. His luxury jet took off from an airport in New York City, and blew out two tires. Instead of flying to its original destination of London, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in New Jersey. Afterward, Post let his fans know he was okay, and his haters know how felt about their death wishes. And his first public words after landing were perfect. He told a TMZ reporter, "I f*cking hate flying."

Just weeks after that scare, Post cheated death once again. The 23-year-old rapper-singer-face-tattoo-addict was involved in a high speed car crash. His assistant was driving, and crashed into a Kia in West Hollywood. Thankfully, neither nor his assistant suffered any major injuries. However, the vehicle was badly damaged and had to be towed away. The Beverly Hills Police Department reported that no alcohol was involved, although Post Malone looks like he bleeds Bud Light.

Well, now the talented hip-hop artist has suffered another case of bad luck. According to TMZ, three armed gunmen robbed his old house in the San Fernando Valley. Reportedly, the thieves pistol-whipped the current resident of the property, and one of them yelled, "Where's Post Malone?" Luckily, Post had not lived there for months, and the resident had no connection with him. The men stole about $20,000 in cash, jewelry, cell phones and other items.
The police are investigating the burglary and trying to determine it's related to other celebrity home invasions in the area. Reportedly, suspects stole a safe from the home of rap duo Rae Sremmurd just hours before the break-in at Post Malone's old house. TMZ reports that Wiz Khalifa, John Mayer, Bella Thorne and Christina Milian have all been victims of burglaries or attempted burglaries as well.

Post Malone has not publicly commented on the robbery, most likely because he is mourning the death of Mac Miller. The acclaimed 26-year-old rapper died of an apparent overdose, just after releasing his fifth album. Hip-hop fans were shocked by the news. It's no secret that Mac went through some dark times, suffering a public breakup with Ariana Grande and a highly publicized drunk driving accident. But it seemed like he was bouncing back. In his tweets, he wrote about how excited he was to go on tour.

Post was friends with Mac, and recently revealed to TMZ that they were working on a collaborative album. It's sad we'll never hear this project, but hopefully we'll hear many most Post Malone projects in the years to come.

While Post Malone found worldwide recognition with the release of his second album in 2018, this year has also seen the rapper contend with an awful lot of bad luck.
Just weeks after a private plane he was travelling on was forced to make an emergency landing, the 23-year-old has cheated death once again, after he was involved in a high-speed car crash this morning.
Malone, who is also known as Austin Post, was in a Rolls Royce with his assistant early on Friday morning when the crash occurred. His assistant was driving through West Hollywood when the vehicle crashed into a Kia.
According to Sergeant Andrew Meyers of the Beverly Hills Police Department, Malone's car proceeded to smash through a fence before coming to a stop in an area of shrubbery.
The rapper and his assistant sustained no injuries in the crash, however, the vehicle in question was badly damaged and was pictured being towed away from the scene.
The Beverly Hills Police Department have since confirmed that there were no other injuries reported, and that no alcohol was involved.
The Better Now singer was photographed looking shaken after the incident, holding a cigarette while talking to a police officer. However, he was also seen clambering onto the roof of his wrecked white Rolls Royce before the vehicle was taken away.

The hip-hop star took to Twitter after the crash, writing "god must hate me lol."

Two weeks ago, Malone allegedly feared the worst after the tyres of his private jet exploded shortly after take-off.
The plane departed from Teterboro airport after the MTV Video Music Awards, and there were 16 people on board. The jet was diverted to New York, where it was forced to circle the airport for several hours to burn off fuel.
The plane landed safely at Stewart International Airport.
Malone was naturally shaken by the incident. "I landed guys. thank you for your prayers. can’t believe how many people wished death on me on this website. f*ck you. but not today," he later wrote on Twitter.

Yesterday, a small jet plane carrying Post Malone and 15 other passengers had to make an emergency landing after it blew out two of its tires during takeoff. The incident happened just before 11am, but the plane was forced to circle in the air for nearly four hours before eventually finding a safe place to land at the Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, NY.
Malone, whose real name is Austin Post, took to Twitter shortly after the incident to let his fans know that he was ok - but also to let his haters know how he felt about the various death wishes he'd received.
"I landed guys," he wrote, "thank you for your prayers. Can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website. F**k you. But not today."

Upon learning that the rapper was safe, many people began speculating on what his first thoughts must have been after his plane touched down.
"U know Post Malone came out of that plane with a beer in his hand, cig in his mouth screaming 'I LIVED MOTHERF**KER,'" tweeted one person.
Another said: "I hope @PostMalone lands and immediately does a beer bong."
As it turns out, those people weren't far off, as an interview with TMZ shortly after the landing showed Malone - cigarette in hand - trying to play down the whole incident.
"I f**king hate flying," he said to the interviewer. He then went on to detail exactly what happened, saying that the plane had actually already made one emergency landing earlier on after an alarm went off, but was given the all-clear to go again - and that's when the tires burst.

But the 23-year-old wasn't just going to go about his day as if nothing had happened. In quintessential Malone style, the rapper said: "We're here on Earth, and I need a beer, and I need some wine. At the same time. Mixed together."
He also gave props to the pilots, saying, "They handled it perfectly - it couldn't have gone smoother. We were just stuck in the air for so long not knowing whether we could go down." And, when asked how he reacted to the near-death situation while on board, he said, "I just put everyone in a big group text to tell them I love them - you know, just in case."
Given how endearing his responses were to the situation, then, it was surprising to see how many people had wished for a negative outcome for the rapper.

"Post Malone is one of the nicest and most genuine celebrities out there," tweeted one fan. "Why on earth should anyone have death wishes for him man, that’s just sad s**t."
"If you wished death upon Post Malone you’re f**king disgusting," said another.
Thankfully, most of the tweets about the rapper seemed to be ones of support.

Malone is due to play at the Reading and Leeds festival this weekend in England, and so will have to endure another plane journey very shortly. Hopefully, this next one will run a lot smoother!

A private luxury jet carrying 16 passengers, including rapper Post Malone, is forced to make an emergency landing, according to TMZ. On Tuesday morning, the plane took off from the Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and blew two tires, according to the Associated Press. The jet's original destination was the Luton Airport in London, England, but now it has been diverted.
In air traffic audio obtained by TMZ, the pilot said that he lost a tire and asked for permission to circle above. The plan was to burn fuel to lighten the plane's weight for a safer possible emergency landing. After hovering above Connecticut, the pilot was directed to New York.
The Gulfstream IV aircraft safely landed at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, New York. That airport has a longer runway, better equipped to accommodate emergency landings. 12 ambulances, 9 fire trucks and 25 personnel were standing by.

This has been a pretty crazy year for pop star and living face tattoo Post Malone. First, his luxury jet blew two tires when it took off, and was forced to make an emergency landing. (His first words after landing? "I f**king hate flying.") Then he was involved in a high-speed car accident, when his assistant, who was driving, crashed into a Kia. (I assume his first words afterward were "I f**king hate my assistant.") The unlucky streak continued, when armed thugs broke into his house, stole about $20,000 and pistol-whipped the current resident. (Post was not living there at the time. But if he was home, I think he would have said, "I f**king hate armed thugs).
When you have a harrowing experience, it gives you new appreciation for life. We're on this planet for a limited amount of time, so you better make the most of it. Now, having narrowly escaped three situations that could have been life-or-death, what will Post Malone choose to do? Design his own line of Crocs. Obviously. It turns out the Rockstar singer is a huge fan of the footwear, and Crocs is a huge fan of famous people promoting them.
Crocs are frequently slammed for looking horrendous, so it's surprising they'd want to collaborate with a clean-cut, handsome young man like Post. Recently high-heeled Crocs became a thing, and people are actually wearing them, proving once and for all that there is no God. Just kidding. I can't say whether or there or not there is deity, or deities, responsible for creating the universe. But I can say that Post Malone has created his own line of Crocs, and they are already sold out.
The collaborated, called 'Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog,' is described by the manufacturer as a "devilishly awesome take on the iconic Classic Clog." It includes six custom-designed Jibbitz, which are plastic decorative charms you can plug into the holes. Post's custom Jibbitz include his infamous 'Stay Away' tattoo, his 'Posty Co' logo, and, I assume, a half-empty can of Bud Light full of cigarette butts.
"If you like something, go get it," Post Malone said in a statement to Hypebeast. "I wear Crocs everywhere from the bar to the stage and I felt it was the perfect collaboration to get together with Crocs and give the fans what they've been asking for."
"Amidst his record-setting year, when Post tweeted 'U can tell a lot about a man by the Jibbitz in his Crocs', that really got our attention," stated Crocs chief marketing officer Terence Reilly. "Post Malone is a beloved creator and represents what it means to be comfortable in your own shoes, so collaborating on product design is special. We're thrilled with how the Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog turned out and excited about what's to come. Stay tuned."
Well, keep living your best life, Post!

Post Malone is one of those people whom even his most ardent fans would describe as being unconventionally good-looking. With his rummage-sale fashion sense, scruffy beard, countless tattoos and piercings, he doesn't look like the sort of guy that would be easy to introduce to your grandma. Despite that, there are still plenty of people out there who love the way he dresses. I'll say this for him: he really knows how to be himself.
Post (real name Austin Richard) has been doing pretty well for himself lately, both critically and commercially. Despite (or maybe because of) his eccentric appearance and easy-going attitude, he's definitely emerged as a rapper to watch recently. His first album, entitled 'Stoney' went platinum three times and hit the top of the charts. Meanwhile, his follow-up album, Beerbongs & Bentley, has been a smash success and broke the first-day streaming records on Spotify, boasting a whopping total of 78.7 million streams worldwide. Pretty impressive huh?
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/Boo-obfhc5B/]]
However, now it appears that Post is aiming for a more subdued look, after sharing an Instagram snap in which it appears he's chopped off his long locks and has gone for a shorter 'do instead. Post took to social media to upload the pic of himself, captioning it: "had 2 big ass dreads. plz don't stop listening to my music. [sic]" In case you're worrying about Post looking too square though: relax. Seems as though his trademark tattoos are still here to stay.
Post has had a hard time coping with the death of fellow rapper Mac Miller, died of a drug overdose in September 2018. Indeed, in a Rolling Stone interview, Miller had actually teased the possibility of a collaboration, stating: "Me and Post have been talking about doing an album. So we got together. And then Frank Dukes has worked on a bunch of my records, but we had never met, so he came through too. And then Thundercat appeared and we all started jamming. We were just having a great time."
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BonX4g9B95A/]]
Not only that, but a few of Post's critics have also accused him of cultural appropriation due to his being a white rapper. But when interviewed about the topic by Dana Cortez on her talk show, Post claimed: "Coming into my own and really figuring out who I am and what kind of music I want to make and how I want to really shift the culture and shift the genre… now I think, with this last album, I’ve shut a lot of people up that just wanted to call me a cultural appropriator or a one-hit-wonder. It doesn’t bother me anymore that people question me. I just want to keep making the best music I can."
It's cool that Post is trying out a new style, but I think he's one of those guys who can pull off the shabby look quite well, don't you?
