Prince William and Kate Middleton have revealed that their three kids "all miss their much-loved great-grandfather" Prince Phillip.
People across the globe were left heartbroken after the Duke of Edinburgh passed away at the age of 99 on April 9 at Windsor Castle.
In a touching letter sent to the Instagram account Miss Royal Replies on May 13, the couple opened up about how the public's reaction to Prince Philip's death has affected them.
The typed note was uploaded to the Instagram account alongside a picture of a smiling Prince Philip.
The letter reads: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for your kind words following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh.
"Their Royal Highnesses have been incredibly moved by the many thoughtful messages they have received in recent weeks."
The letter added: "They will all miss their much loved grandfather and great-grandfather, but your message has provided great comfort at this difficult time."
It comes as Prince William and Kate have made a number of other tributes to Prince Philip in recent weeks.
On April 12, William uploaded a picture of the late royal with Prince George in a carriage.
The future king then opened up about his relationship with his grandfather and how he appreciated the special bond he formed with his children.
He wrote: "I will never take for granted the special memories my children will always have of their great-grandpa coming to collect them in his carriage and seeing for themselves his infectious sense of adventure as well as his mischievous sense of humour!
"My grandfather was an extraordinary man and part of an extraordinary generation."
He added: "Catherine and I will continue to do what he would have wanted and will support The Queen in the years ahead. I will miss my Grandpa, but I know he would want us to get on with the job."
The Queen is also continuing to pay tribute to her late husband in the weeks after his death, and she recently wore a piece jewelry from their wedding day.
On her first royal engagement since her husband's funeral on April 17, she wore a broach from her nuptials.

The Queen appeared via a video call in front of a virtual audience.

The Sun reports that the Queen was wearing the Nizam of Hyderabad floral royal brooch, which was part of a tiara gifted to her on her wedding day in 1947.
