Enchanting's reported cause of death has been disclosed after the rapper died aged 26.

The artist, whose real name was Channing Nicole Larry, was signed to rapper Gucci Mane's 1017 Records in 2020 until earlier this year.

According to the New York radio station Hot 97, Enchanting appeared on three compilation albums before leaving the record label in 2023. She released her final studio album, Luv Scarred/No Luv last year.

“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant @luvenchanting,” Mane wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture of the young Fort Worth, Texas, rapper.

While the cause of death has not been confirmed, it has been reported that the 26-year-old died after an apparent overdose.

A representative from Enchanting's management team claimed to The Shade Room that the artist was "suffering from withdrawals".

"She came to my house the last four days to get clean," they continued. "She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried."

People close to the rapper also confirmed the devastating news, as rapper Lil CJ Casino penned on Instagram: “They pulled the plug bro this s*** so f***ed up I just knew you was finna pull threw @luvenchanting you gone forever be stop6 princess & Kasino first lady.

“They don’t know all hours you spent at the Kasino studio sleeping there making music putting this s*** together and you went way further than us I always told you how proud I was of you," they added.

Enchanting began her music career at age 18, shortly after graduating from high school. During her rise to fame, she released her song 'He Can’t Reach,' which was featured on HBO’s Rap Sh!t season 2 soundtrack.

The late rapper described her music style as "trap-n-blues," according to her 1017 Records profile, which is still active on the label’s website.

"I had to get comfortable with my voice," she said, per the website. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at.”

In addition to her music career, the musician was a content creator on OnlyFans, where she amassed over 25,000 likes.
