T.I.’s daughter, Deyjah Harris, has criticized her father for comments made about her virginity.
Last year, the US rapper caused outrage after he said he accompanies 18-year-old Harris to the gynecologist every year "to check her hymen" and ensure that it is still intact.
Harris has now spoken out about her father's controversial comments on the family’s reality show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, per the Daily Star.
Conceding that she was "very shocked, hurt, angry [and] embarrassed", she detailed that she felt like she “couldn’t have said no” when her father wanted to speak with her doctors.
"I do think my dad treats me differently than the boys when it comes to the subject of sex and supervision," she continued. "My dad even jokes with [my brother] King about becoming a baby daddy. He would never joke like that with me.”
"I just don’t really care to be around him right now. I’ll be a better parent. I mean, I’m not saying he’s a bad parent, I’m not saying that. I’m just saying when it comes to stuff like this, I’m just gonna be more connected mentally, emotionally."
Harris added that this ordeal has caused her to look at her relationship with her dad "differently", saying: "This situation was just a little traumatizing for me."

Back in November, T.I. defended his comments by stating that they were taken out of context when speaking to actress Jada Pinkett-Smith on her Facebook podcast Red Table Talk.
Listen to T.I.'s interview with Jada Pinkett-Smith on Red Table Talk here:He claimed: "First of all, I came to clear up any misconceptions there have been surrounding how we parent and what is appropriate and inappropriate. I think all of this comes from a conversation I was having in a very joking manner when asked how I deal with parenting in this day and age."
''From a place of truth, I began to embellish and exaggerate and I think a lot of people took it extremely [literally]. Because if you put any of my reputation, who I am as a father, who I’ve been, I honestly thought people knew me better than that.
''In the age and the time, our women, black women, are the most unprotected, unattended, disregarded women of the planet. I’m being criticized because I’m willing to go above and beyond to protect mine and I’m talking about all the little slimy, grimy, chubby-fingers little boys who want to just come and defile and destroy the sanctity that I have."
In the original interview, T.I. told hosts Nazanin and Nadia: "I think that most kids in hindsight, looking back, they always thank their parents for not allowing them to damage themselves as much as they could have."
Listen to T.I. discuss his daughter's virginity in his Ladies Like Us appearance:
He continued: "Deyjah’s 18. [She's] just graduated high school now and she’s attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself. And yes, not only have we had the conversation, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen."
"This is what we do. Right after [her 16th] birthday, we celebrate. Usually, like the day after the party, she’s enjoying her gifts. I put a sticky note on the door: 'Gyno. Tomorrow. 9:30.'"
