Raven came out back in 2013, when she celebrated the legalization of gay marriage nationwide. She tweeted to her fans: "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you."

Back in 2014, Raven opened up about her sexuality during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which she said:
"In that topic of dating and in love, I knew when I was, like, 12. I was looking at everything. I don't want to be labeled gay. I want to be labeled a human who loves humans."
And speaking to Variety, last year, as part of an interview for their Power of Pride issue, Raven said that she viewed her decision to not come out sooner as "selfish", as it could help someone else feel more "comfortable".

"While it was a selfish thing for me to keep my secret to myself for as long as I did, I am very happy that I’m out, if only to help someone else feel comfortable,” she told the publication. "It is about that one person who you’ll never see or meet who watches the show and feels that confidence to just say, ‘Hey, guess what? I’m gay. And if you can’t accept me, it’s okay, because I see Raven pushing through.’ That feels good. It’s a hard journey, though. It’s difficult."
The That's So Raven reboot, Raven's Home, debuted back in 2017, and is available to watch now on Disney+.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
