Reality TV star Kelly Dodd has found herself in some legal trouble after allegedly sharing an NSFW video of a woman without her consent.
The Real Housewives of Orange County actor has been accused of sharing footage of a woman engaging in sexual activity during the summer of 2025.
The woman's identity has been kept anonymous, with the video involving Jane Doe masturbating and then having sex with another person, according to prosecutors, as reported by TMZ.
Dodd was not given consent to release the footage, prosecutors further clarified in legal documents, as they described these alleged actions as intentional and unlawful.
The victim claims to have suffered "severe emotional distress" after being seen in the unsolicited footage.
Now, Dodd is facing jail time for her alleged actions, as the woman was filmed without her consent.
Accusations against Kelly Dodd
The Reality star has been accused of recording the sexual activity in a place where Jane Doe would have had expectations of privacy, the court filing details.
Court documents further detail that prosecutors claimed Dodd and Jane Doe made a pact not to release the footage.
In this period, Dodd was accused of threatening the alleged victim with potential injury to her person, property, and relatives.
Prosecutors say that Dodd had shared the images in August 2025.
Separate legal issues
The mom-of-one is also facing legal charges related to a separate woman in June 2025, which TMZ said was a battery charge in an alleged incident.
Now, the reality TV actor is facing three misdemeanor charges and possible jail time.
But her social media fans may not be aware of this, as she made no mention of these troubles on Wednesday (May 27), as she donned a workout tank top and modeled a pickleball outfit in a post.
Who is Kelly Dodd?
Dodd was a regular fixture on the Orange County take of the Real Housewives TV franchise from seasons 11 to 15, from 2016 to 2021.
As for her personal life, she was previously married to Scott Silva from 2001 to 2004 and then to Michael Dodd from 2006 to 2018.
Dodd shares a daughter with the latter, 19-year-old Jolie.
She has been married to Rick Leventhal, a former senior correspondent for Fox News Channel, since October 2020.
Last November, the mom went viral after a voice note of her criticizing her daughter after she was blocked "on everything," and Jolie sided with her father over a mystery dispute.
